The nails kind of flared instead of where straight, they were also done too closely to the sides of my finger, causing pain and damage upon removal (I always remove my nails at home with no damage to my nailbeds or pain and this was very painful to remove and caused bleeding due to being attached to the side of my finger) I would probably not go again if i was looking to get natural nails

I could tell she definitely knew what she was doing when she immediately chose the right sizes of nail tips for every nail without having to compare them or size them up. The staff was very nice and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I asked for short, almond-shaped nails, short enough that I could type on the keyboard at work. Jenny did a beautiful job on my nails, and she got them to the perfect length! Long enough for a feminine touch, but short enough to be practical. Most nail techs I've been to tend to err on the long side, but she got them just right. After I paid, she gave me a little stamp card that will get me a $20 discount after 12 visits! This was my fourth time receiving services from VIP Nails, and it was the most impressive…read moreexperience that I've had from there. Even before going I knew what I wanted, a manicure and dip polish with a valentines theme. I chose a red dip color for my nails and then on my ring fingers I did a sparkly white with red hearts. The manicure itself was the best one I've ever had. When she asked if I wanted my nails cut, I was really hesitant because typically I feel like my nails get cut too short during manicures. I said she could cut them if she needed to in order to even them out, but I wanted my nails to be as long as possible. Not only did she not cut them down, she also asked if I wanted my nails to be round or square. I've never had a nail artist ask me that before, typically they've just done whatever they think is best. But, I really appreciated it! I had only used dip powder one other time, and it was honestly a nightmare. Because of that, I was really nervous about it this time. When she started, she assured me not to panic by the look of the powder. It is crazy how the powder eventually looks like regular and gel polish eventually. She did a great job on the nails and on the heart design. It took a few minutes for her to perfect the hearts, but I appreciated that she put so much effort into making them so good! My sister-in-law got a pedicure and manicure and chose French tips for her manicure. Her nails looked really good, I was super impressed!! The price was fair. I paid $52 for manicure, dip powder, and simple designs. The nail salon was crowded when we got there, but it died down a little after a while. We were there for about 2 hours total, but since we were together and able to chat it didn't feel too long. When you go ask for Lin or Nacy!

When the coloring was done, i noticed that Eli was having a problem brushing my hair and i can feel how dried and damage it is already. I tried telling Eli about it and this is the only response that i got.. and quote " I understand your hair is a bit damaged, however when you came in your hair was very compromised with multiple colors as well as splat. I did everything I could to give you the result you were looking for. This was a total color correction. We could do conditioning treatments until your next appointment if you would like :)". not even apologetic about it, and kinda blame my hair that it' was my fault that the treatment made my hair damage. I kinda regret giving him a tip $80.00 for a messed up work. I will never ever coming back at this salon. im so disappointed of this experience.

I really don't like giving places bad reviews but the service I got for my FIRST visit was completely unacceptable. 1. The stylist I scheduled with was literally 15 minutes late to our appointment because she was out at her car talking to her boyfriend.. 2. I was getting color treatment (low lights). She left me sitting in the dryer area for over 35 minutes *past* when the dryer timer went off. My phone died in that time because I was waiting so long. Why? Because she was too busy talking to another client about coronavirus. I actually thought she forgot about me. I was about to go get her when she came back to me. 3. After this appointment, my hair was very damaged. Probably because I was left with dye in my hair so long. It fell out in clumps for weeks after. I've had my hair dyed many times in the past and this has never ever happened to me. No professional stylist has EVER left me that long. I don't care that she had another client.. it's whatever. Make your money. But for Christ's sake, don't stand there and talk to them for 20 minutes when you have another client with chemicals sitting in their hair. I tipped her regardless because I'm not an asshole. But I'm never coming back. Worst hair appointment ever.
