Look at my photo. Look at my skin and cuticles...that says it all!! Additionally the polish doesn't cover the sides of my nails. My pedicure was just as bad. Cleaning/exfoliating scrub only put on one foot. No foot massage was done. I will not return here. read more

I would NEVER voluntarily patronize this business. My friend was having nails done here for her wedding. Right off, I couldn't find the door. There is one on either side and neither has signage for the nail salon. This is not a big deal and was not counted in the rating, but a quirk worth mentioning. The door is to the right in case anyone wants to know. In the entryway before you even open the inner door you are BOWLED OVER by odor. Major red flag. Once inside the establishment it is ten times worse. I literally had trouble breathing and had a nauseated headache. I had to step outside several times. Walking back in each time made me GAG. I arrived 20 minutes after my friend and was surprised to see her still sitting in the waiting area. I asked what time her appointment was for and she said they don't take appointments! Walk in only... Friday night and a line out the door... No exaggeration she was not seated for ONE HOUR AND THIRTY-FIVE MINUTES. Time is money and this is not acceptable. They have you in a bind though because of being one of very few nail salons and one with lower prices. I'm sorry but no bargain is good enough for me to risk my health by sitting in that chemical cloud for hours on end. Pay the money to go anywhere else. read more

I am always satisfied with how my nails turn out. I typically get the gel nails. They last a long time. Yes, it is a wait to get your nails done however, they do a good job, they're thorough plus it is my choice to go and I plan my nail day accordingly so I do not feel pressed for time. They were literally so terrible. The wait was over an hour and when the man found that I just wanted something non-time consuming (polish change, fingers and toes) he basically went as fast as he could. Th charge was $15 and I left a tip not yet knowing how bad the job was. Even though I dried under the lights for 25 minutes, when I got home my toenail polish smudged off and a few of my nails were ruined. If the work was done carefully at all, it would not have been layered so thick and would have easily dried completely within 10-15 minutes. Now I'm stuck between wearing ugly nails to my graduation tomorrow or going and paying them to have it fixed because other salons may not have that same color. And one last thing--their ventilation is considerably worse than any nail salon I've ever been in. read more

I had a really great experience at LA Nails. It wasn't too expensive, the nail technicians were so nice and my manicure looked amazing.

This was the slowest nail salon I have ever been to. A typical manicure takes 20 minutes. This lady spent about 15 minutes on my cuticles alone, had dirty nails, and jerked my hand around whenever she needed me to move it. I'm not sure if she's just new but either way this was the worst manicure experience I've had. read more

As a cosmetologist in training, I was appalled by this salon. as soon as I walked in I knew there was no proper ventilation by the smell. I had to wait for over an hour, which definitely was not worth the wait. while I was waiting, I noticed that one of the men messed up a customers nails pretty bad. (I could tell by the customer yelling at him) And lucky me, I got that man to do my acrylics. He rushed through the whole service, and not to mention I was in pain the entire time. He was not gentile at all, and I definitely was not impressed with the results. My nails were uneven and bumpy, and it seemed as if he had never even painted nails before. Definitely never going there again. Not to mention it was pretty messy. I noticed there was acrylic powder everywhere, and nail clippings all over the floors. read more
