I just spent $50.00 on a dip manicure. The nails are crooked, extremely thick on some fingers, and I had loads of yucky powder chunks stuck under the edges of my nails. Additionally, the basically went crazy on my cuticles with the rotary tool and my bad cuticles look even worse now. The edges of all of my nails were stuck to my fingers. The hand massage was a few squeezes to each hand, literally. I went straight to my car, took out my mail file and spent half an hour correcting what I could. I'm worried I'm going to end up with some kind of infection around my cuticles from how rough the rotary was :/ I won't be back. read more

Hands down this is my go to spot to get my nails done! Tiffany is fantastic and always puts so much detail into her work. She makes sure that I leave with exactly the design I requested. She did the Black Matte manicure and Green and Gold manicure in the pictures. Every staff member who has done my nails has been very friendly and helpful. They have the best color and design options. I have to say that I've never had a bad experience there and I think that people should definitely try it. Their hours post that they close at 7:30 pm. I arrived at 6 pm to get gel nails. Basic gel nails can be done in less than an hour and there were nail techs available. The nail tech I had was inhospitable and appeared annoyed that she had to perform the service. She finished my nails by 7 pm and rushed through the hand massage service. If they actually close at 7pm, they need to update their operating hours or don't accept clients after 5:30 pm to ensure a better client experience! read more

Saturday 05/29/21 Customer service the second you walk in is nonexistent. If your team doesn't want to work find a new job. They lied about their services. Their menu advertised a 5 minute massage with their pedicure package... never happened. Didn't even get lotion. My moms entire pedicure was less than 5 minutes. The manicure was so poorly done she had to get a new one done by another person. The younger guy at the front has such an attitude. He complained about his non deserving tip and stormed off. Honestly with that manicure he's lucky we even paid! I got a gel manicure and they already chipped because these people are too full of themselves to file your nails. I've never felt more disrespected. And I will not be returning. I just couldn't justify any higher of a rating for them! First time here, definitely the last. This place has serious sanitation issues. The gel pedicure was so so, I didn't really like how she shaped my pedicure but that i can overlook. Firstly, the callus drill she used I noticed she didn't put a clean pad before using nor did the lady next to us my mom had. The bin which holds metal pedicure tools, pumice stone and nail file wasn't disinfected for the next client. She literally used them on me and put them back in her white bin and proceeded across the pedicure chairs to the next client..... that's scary!!! They opened 9am sat and we came at 8:55am.... when we first sat down I also noticed debris from previous pedicures around both of our chairs. Odd considering we were the first clients that day but I didn't think too much into it because it wasn't directly in the bowl. She used the towel she dried my feet with to wipe it clean. They just straight up don't even care. She asked twice how we were paying and I explained, were paying separate and had two cards in my hand. She charged both to my card so i told her don't even worry about it but that was also annoying. The pumice stone was old and worn down. Just an FYI- metal tools need to be sanitized between each client. You can't put dirty tools in the same bin you put the clean because it cross contaminates unless you're planning on cleaning the bin too. Your hands need to be washed in between clients and please discard old pumice stones. read more

Before thanksgiving I had the dip on my nails. Apparently you have to ask to have the manicure part done first? Never heard of that in the 10 years I've been getting mine done. The nails looks okay. Went to pay and was charged for the manicure I never received so they took that off but charged another $10 for a special design. It was a full nail different color, not a special design. Again wasn't aware there would be a fee for something they'd never explained in the beginning . I'd gladly pay for a design but this was just another color. Regardless, nails started chipping and looking terrible 3 days later. Don't waste your time or money. Will not return. read more

Terrible! I've come here 2-3 times when I'm in town to visit family, and I don't know why I've even retuned the amount of times I have. They rush through every job. Yesterday, in particular, I received the spa pedicure treatment. That's a $50 treatment with gel polish. Not only were all of my toe nails crooked, paint was not even. First time I came I got powder dip and my manicure was amazing. It lasted me five weeks. A little pricy, but worth it because it lasted so long. The second and third time did not even come close to the first time I went. My nails weren't done nicely. I got a pedicure there and the nails were shaped, or painted nicely. I wish I could give this place 0 stars! I don't even know where to begin with how bad this nail salon is! The lady that did my pedicure spoke on the phone the WHOLE time she gave me a pedicure! Then they put color changing nail polish on my nails when it NEVER stated on that particular color that it was color changing. The lady that did my pedicure continued her phone conversation while she gave me a manicure too! My daughter was with me and when I went to pay I saw a kids manicure and pedicure came with a free design which no one told me about. When I said something they told me "you didn't say you wanted it." Um, that's not my job to say something, that it YOUR job if it's included!! My nails looked horrible and the gel was the worst I have ever seen! I couldn't take it any longer so I went to another salon to get them redone and they couldn't get the gel off! I soaked my nails for over an hour and it still didn't come off. I went back here to tell them and see if they would do anything to make it better and the manager basically got in my face and told me there gel is fine and it must be me. I don't think so! I have literally lived all over the world and it has never taken over an hour to soak off gel! She then told me she doesn't care if people talk on the phone when they are doing services and if I don't like it, don't come back. She also told me apparently I don't know how to read since I should have read it was a mood color. Who says that? I explained to her that I have a masters degree so I'm pretty sure I can read a nail polish color! Now I know why they have so many HORRIBLE reviews. Their pedicures SUCK, and their gel manicures look ridiculous! They make the gel way to thick! After talking to the owner, I now know why her employees are the way they are. Read the bad reviews - they are true!! I've gone for years to PK Nails and had great experiences, but someone gave me a gift card to LA nails so I decided to try it. First I went in for acrylics, and they were very pushy about trying to upsell me to the gel polish, even though I said I didn't want it multiple times. I shouldn't feel like I have to defend my decisions to my nail technician! She rushed through it; I was in and out in 30 minutes, but they were sloppily done, including the paint, which didn't go all the way to the edges. Worse, I went back to get them removed a few weeks later. They argued with me about wanting to get them removed and kept trying to upsell me on powder and other types of refills. The technician told me that it would be very, VERY painful to get them removed because they weren't ready to come off. I have had my nails removed multiple times, and have even removed them myself a few times using acetone, and it is never painful. Well, figured out why she said it would be painful, and it's because they didn't soak them in acetone at all. She just filed them down with the drill and then literally ripped them off one at a time using her fingers and a fake nail. I have never seen it done this way. It wasn't even that painful anyway, except when she accidentally filed my natural nail with the electric file instead of my acrylic nail, and cut it all the way down to the nail bed. I had filled in where my natural nail was showing with nail polish, and I guess she didn't see where the acrylic stopped (there was a noticeable bump though - shouldn't have been hard!). No apologies, nothing. To top it off, because I did not add on a manicure ($16), they didn't even paint my nails. Not even a clear coat. For the same price, I have NEVER had my acrylics removed that they didn't at least put a simple coat of paint on afterwards. I have $50 left on my gift card, and I'm not going back, even for free! read more

Called asking if they had time for a pedicure as I knew I would be a bit late taking them over their closing time. I just finished work and it was my last chance for a pedicure before leaving for vacation. The woman on the phone said it would be ok so I was at the salon within 10 minutes. I knew this was an inconvenience, but instead of rushing me through, the technician did a great and thorough job for a full pedicure. Never once did I feel rushed or that I upset her for having her stay late. They have an awesome color selection and my nails look great. Today I went in to get a refill on my acrylic nails and it took them TWO HOURS. The guy had no idea what he was doing or what equipment to use. On top of that, 3 women walked into the salon with a bag of raw meat. It was really unsanitary and they even placed it on the floor. I've been going to your salon for years now, but not anymore. The service has been absolutely horrible. My gel manicure hasn't even lasted me a week. I was told the color was "too light" for my nails so instead of taking off the 2 coats of gel polish that had already been put on my nails they painted right over with a color that they had picked themselves.
