It's a perfect little spot with lots of amazing choices on the menu so you'll always find something that you like on there! My two favorite dishes on the menu are local specialities. If you are going to get raclette anywhere, this is the place to get it! Why you ask? The presentation! Their raclette heater is beyond beautiful! But enough about the heater, the cheese is fantastic and paired with their huge charcuterie platter and big bowl of potatoes and big bowl of salad it is absolute perfection! If you don't feel like you need to be rolled out of there, you didn't do it right! They give you a huge amount of cheese and so much meat to keep you busy. I also highly recommend their fondue. The fondue here is perfect in every single way. The keep an eye out to make sure the fire isn't too hot and burning the cheese and not getting too cold at the same time. If I remember correctly they use three different cheeses in their fondue so the flavor is spot on! We did fondue delivery from another place a week before and this fondue kicked it's butt! I shared this with my mother and when we got the pot, we thought they gave us way too much cheese but we managed to finish the whole pot it was that good! This is a great local spot and I would recommend it to any one in the area. Cozy up next to the fireplace, enjoy some wine and a nice raclette and you'll be one happy person! The winelist had a 2008 Pomerol magnum but we were given a 2011. We would have appreciated either an alternative price or just the normal size bottles of 2008 Pomerol which they apparently did have in stock. The place was very very busy. We had a very nice corner table so were not bothered by the huge amount of people but we had to wait extremely long for our food. After ordering we were not told that it would take a very long time and we were not given anything (like a piece of bread with some olive oil or so) in the meanwhile. Just after we finished the magnum bottle of wine and we were annoyed enough to ask the waiters if we would get some food our food arrived. If the Steakclub would be able to improve their logistics I would rate them at least one more star.
