Many times, during the "year" at salon for haircut(always pre booked every 4 weeks with a chosen hair stylist), "glitches" in my appointment(s) when I arrived frequently occurred. Such as: 1. Appointment unfortunately erased by the computer - they( husband and wife(owners)) would scramble to fit me in -telling me to come back later or wait until my stylist arrived. 2. Hair stylist who had been cutting my hair, moved away. Salon owners said they booked me with the stylist's friend. Yet on the subsequent 3 appointments, new stylist not at salon for one reason or another. 2 times she finally arrived later than my booked time. 3. Caused me a feeling of humiliation, worthlessnes, uncomfortably , while sitting in a chair waiting for stylist to arrive, the 2 owners, behind desk communicating in their language which I do not understand, spoke loud enough for me to hear that they "seemed not to know what to do for me. After around 20 minutes waiting, I left salon. I never even received a phone call or text of apology. I don't recommend this salon for individuals who are not part of the so called ethnic community. At the time of writing, a kid's cut, including a wash, costs $3 more than Kidsnips, and while they may not have the flashy TVs or toys that other child-focused haircut locations offer, Mr. Sean is extremely patient and quick with our son, which is a huge plus, and he is also very detail-oriented- we love our son's hair at the end. For adults, Sean does a great cut too, and is always very detailed with his styling. Logistics: - There is a seating/waiting area that my son sits and can read books at while I get my haircut (we bring our own books). It is typically on the quieter side which is nice for those looking for a quieter environment. - They are appointment-only, made by phone call. Sean's days off are Wednesdays and Sundays. Saturdays tend to book quickly, so try and call about 2 weeks in advance if you are looking for a weekend date. - We usually show a picture of a previous cut as a photo reference. Highlights: - Mr. Sean is respectful, willing to listen to to our son, and was also ok with him running around and exploring while I was getting my haircut (which is a huge plus for an already anxiety-ridden mom [a.k.a. me]; envision a toddler running around in circles and asking a ton of questions about the haircut). - There is a "treat jar" for kids with an assortment of sweets for a job well done :) (My son's primary focus of our visit)

From when I stepped into the store and paid, it took about 30 minutes. Very quick, easy, and efficient. Love it. All for $36 + tip, a grand total of $41.40 which isn't horrible, but if you're on a budget, you can probably can get a cheaper haircut. This store rents out booths to the stylists, so definitely make sure to book your appointment before you go. Probably a very low chance that you'd find one sitting around waiting for a customer.
