Love the ice cream bars ether made with water or milk cream I call them fruit bars They have some with nuts or chocolate They also sell yogurts Corn Ice cream creations so much to chose from I started going seven years ago with a dear friend who could interpret It's very friendly families dates etc When it's not these tiniest there's a little area to sit inside or out ! Delicious! This was the best treat. I met with some interns from my startup that live in the area and was trying to figure out what we could enjoy while social distancing in the park. La Michoacana came up and I am so glad that I was able to support this business. You pull up your car into numbered parking spaces and you can either call to order ahead of time, or go to the front door where someone will come out to take your order via wireless device and you pay with your credit/debit card. I had brought a cooler to transport all the delicious goodies and they were so nice to pack all the items for me. I got three elotes..awesome balance of corn, mayo, cheese and chili powder. Then a small scoop of chocolate and a small scoop of Ferrero Roche with waffle cone and the most awesome mango dessert. RANCID! I have given this location a fair chance, multiple times. Mistakes happen here and there therefore did not mind it at first. Wrong charges were refunded, wrong orders were corrected, but rancid food NOT acceptable. I ordered nachos to go. They were given to me in a bag, which I assumed was to keep them warm until I arrived home. As soon as I opened the bag a horrible rancid smell came out of it. This location is next to our old church. I would always drive by, wondering what the pink bright lights were. Most especially during the hot summer days, sometimes the line would be out the door. One night, my curiousity got the best of me and i went in. To my delight, it was an ice cream place, having regular flavors most specializing in mexican flavors as well as other snacks and goodies. Everything is home made, using real fruit or whatever the ingredient calls for. The staff here are very nice and patient and are willing to give out samples. i tried just about every flavor they had and was blown away by how awesome everything tasted. Other than ice cream, they also sell other things such horchata, and some mexican snacks but i can't remember the name. Love this Michoacana! Came in and there was a huge line but they got through it really quick! Everything delicious. I highly recommend the Fresas con crema (strawberries with cream). As you come in it smells like a clean mopping solution and Mexican chips. I love it. Reminds me of when I went to Mexico on vacation. Place is very big and clean. Servers are always sweet and willing to help. I always get the mangoneadas (think I spelled it correctly) and it's delicious! It's a hint of lime with a spicy salt on top and that Chamoy sauce. I have been going here for many years. Their ice cream is way better than any other Mexican shop. The ice cream or popsicle on a stick is fantastic. I always have a few in the freezer. So much ice cream to choose from, I've never been so overwhelmed. Good customer service and good atmosphere. There is outside seating to enjoy the ice cream. It is scoop ice cream so don't be afraid to try multiple flavors. They also have some really inexpensive handmade Popsicles that they use real fruit to make. The prices are good. The service is good. Rude rude rude . I do not know if they do this on purpose but every time I go there is a creepy guy working here who refuses to speak English to me to take my order. This doesn't bother me as much as the fact that I hear him speak perfect English to Spanish speakers but when I come along he only reverts to Spanish . I come here for their fruit ice creams which are ok but the customer service is astronomically horrible unless of course you are Mexican. Oh and if you have African American friends do not bring them here as you will be pointed out and will probably hear some racial slurs that will make your friend extremely uncomfortable. I love the food here but the customer service I just received was absolutely horrible. When I asked for my food they didn't ask me how I wanted it prepared, the lady just rushed off and started making it. (Mind you it wasn't busy) and when they gave it to me I kindly asked her if she could give it to me with only the a few of the ingredients. She rudely accused me of telling her I wanted everything on it, then proceeded to tell her manager what happened. Her manager then came over to me and told me that they couldn't do anything about it if I had originally said I wanted it with everything, I told her I hadn't said that, then got frustrated and told her to just give me the food as is. The manager told the lady to make me a new one, but once I got home, it still had the ingredients I had asked her not to put in.
