Good, basic, run-of-the-mill small-town grocery store. The people are all friendly and helpful,…read moreespecially in the new Brainerd store. No specialty items (not Byerlys by any stretch of imagination), and a very mediocre bakery, but a convenient place to find the usual every day basic packaged food items. The deli section is usually pretty good. Keeping adequate stock of some store food items is apparently difficult, re-stocking is often haphazard or slow, (much more common in Crosby). Meat section is very basic and generally competent, but Super One is not the place to shop for a great steak. Produce at Crosby often suffers from lack of attention to freshness and the occasional rotten onion or wilted leafy vegetable does happen. If my grocery list is produce-heavy, I'll head to Brainerd or Baxter where the produce is likely to be fresher and better stocked. All-in-all, a reasonably competent basic supermarket chain.
