Amazing Mexican spot in Hampton! Everyone you know goes here, you always run into someone you know. I love how they have some of the more authentic Mexican dishes. My favorite is the Cubana Torta. Sooooo good read more

Always busy for good reason. I usually get take out. Have not been disappointed in anyway. Food is on point. I spent about 18 months in San Diego and got really familiar with great Mexican food. LM compares if not surpassing in many areas. The prices are great staff is friendly and the food is outstanding. My coworkers all agree and we order take out often. Can't waIt to bring the family. read more

This place sucks. Waited almost 10 minutes for a waitress, just to be told we can't get a large Margarita because they close in 35 minutes. Do you want business or not? They're usually dead. Should be grateful we're here and provide service. Never again! read more

Service was fast and friendly. Food was excellent. I had the Steak Tacos with cilantro and onion. I will definitely be back ( number 28 on menu ) read more

La Michoacana - Steak Tacos - Mexican Near Me - Hampton, Georgia

This restaurant is located in a shopping center in the intersection between Woolsey and Bear Creek. We came here with friends during my child's soccer tournament. The wait staff is friendly and funny. The restaurant caters to a wide audience from those seeking a more authentic Mexican food experience and those who want the more standard affair of burritos and enchiladas. The adults in our group wanted authentic Mexican food while the kids wanted a more simple. The adults ordered under the "Authentic Mexican Tacos" part of the menu. Between the four of us, we tried the Azada (steak), Lingua (beef tongue), tripa (tripe), chicharron (fried pork rinds), and pollo (chicken). The tacos are served with homemade corn tortilla topped with onions, cilantros with a side of lime. The tacos were very tasty. The tongue was melt in your mouth and the tripe was also top notch. The fried pork rinds was good but not crispy (still very good). The beef was a bit hard but had a nice flavor. Chicken was my least favorite and a bit dry. The kids had the beef burrito with a hard beef taco, side of rice and retried beans. We also ordered a side of sliced avocados. They pretty much demolished the dish. This place is a great find in Hampton. I would definitely come back next time I am in town! read more

This place has awesome Guava margaritas and great Chili Rellenos. The employees are friendly and hard working.

Nice little spot in Hampton, actually it's a nice Gem! The food was hot and fresh. The drinks were at a GREAT price and cold! The fajitas were good and sizzling. The only thing that I didn't care for was the chorizo cheese dip, the cheese was watery and didn't coat the chips. The chips are thick so the cheese would have been a great addition. Overall a great place to get some tasty food! read more

If you're looking for a local Mexican restaurant that makes you feel like you're part of the family, then this is the place for you. You'll be greeted by a warm and friendly staff and served by waiters and waitresses that actually care. The food speaks for itself. They have a pretty large menu catering to everyone's taste buds. They have "Tex-Mex" dishes as well as some authentic foods (huaraches, gorditas, sopes, lengua, tripa, etc.). They can even make you handmade corn tortillas that just make the food taste better! They have a fully stocked bar for those looking for a drink and a patio for those nice sunny days. Oh and their salsa is always on point! You have got to stop in and try this place! read more

The Fastest service I have ever seen (I have waited longer at Taco Bell)! Authentic, fresh, great, food. Polite servers! My fave. read more

Nice house drinks and plenty of parking. Once my road dog us available we will be here.

Great food and service- very reasonable prices for the high quality. The frozen mango margarita was wonderful!

Absolutely spectacular service, great food and wonderful people working there. Very Authentic, very tasty. Once you have been here a few times, you start to learn that there is hardly another place that will compare! Must try!! read more

Absolutely love this little place. I was there the other day and ordered the Huevos Rancheros. While waiting for them, a young man hit my truck in the parking lot while backing out. My luck....so I went out there and got it taken care of with the Hampton Police Dept ( very kind officer). Upon coming back in, my Huevos were waiting for me. After the first bite, I forgot about the unfortunate incident in the parking lot. The food was delicious. 100% authentic. I am glad my friend Jordan suggested this place. I wanted to order a second set of Huevos, but had to head back to work. The place is humble, but clean. The shopping center is a little older but usually those little "holes in the wall" kind of places offer the most authentic and best food. That was the case with this Taqueria. Very inexpensive and possibly the best little taqueria in Henry County. Regarding the damage to my truck, it's all taken care of. Just material things. Cheers. read more

We had dinner here a few days ago and absolutely loved it. The menu is huge, and the staff is very pleasant, the chips are served warm, and the salsa is well balanced and not too spicy. Our portion sizes were just right, and served in a timely manner. The meal itself was very good, the food was great and very reasonably priced. The decor is simple and the food is hearty, we will be coming back the next time we want mexican cuisine. read more

Wonderful family owned restaurant. Always friendly and super fast in their service. Highly recommend if you are looking for an authentic place. Try the chicken fajita quesadillas!! read more

Good food. However, very annoying experience. Staff allowed table next to us play YouTube videos without earbuds. It made our dining experience horrible and unpleasant. It was loud and distracting. Unbelievable how inconsiderate others can be. read more

Average Mexican fair, margaritas were ok and the beer was priced right, you won't be angry when you leave but you won't have a super great time either. If your close by ...why not but there are far better options for Mexican food in the ar read more

Delicious food and great customer service. Will definitely come back! The chicken soup is amazing for the cold days!

My family favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The food is always full of flavor and just right even better that it is close to my house. We order takeout often. read more

The food was mediocre at best--my entree was pretty bland, although not terrible. The chips didn't seem too fresh either. This could be overlooked, except they nearly sent my partner to the hospital by including an ingredient he specifically asked to be removed from his plate. As a final insult, it was far overpriced. They took like two dollars off the meal for ruining my partner's night due to exposure to an allergen. Two stars is generous. Even without the incident that occurred with us, I'd give it no more than 3. read more

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants around. The service is great and the waitresses are always friendly. The food is wonderful, granted I haven't tried the whole menu but everything I've gotten has been great. The margaritas are really good too...according to my boyfriend. I can definitely see myself becoming a regular. read more

The food and service here are consistently great. The staff are friendly, and I have never had a bad experience (or food) here. And I love that it's a family-owned and run local small business. They are wonderful! read more

True authentic Mexican food. No tex-mex or americanized food here. The authentic tacos are AMAZING!!

Wow, this place is just bad... I mean REALLY bad! Wife ordered a rib eye steak for around $14 and it looks like the quality of steak served at waffle house. It is about 1/4" thick and order medium rare and is like shoe leather. I had the steak fajita salad ($10) with about 4 pieces of "steak" and hardly any lettuce. Best part of the meal was the Salas and mixed veggies the wife got instead of rice. Oh ya and $3 blue moon beer is not a deal. So, I guess that is something. read more

Great food, super friendly staff, very clean. Love this place. No alcohol, which is fine with me!

FINALLY, actual AUTHENTIC mexican food. The beef tounge, mexican sausage, and pork reins tacos were fantastic! Can't wait to try the intestine tacos! read more

I love this place. I had to stop going for a while just so I could crave it more. My favorite is two beef enchiladas with beans & rice!

I always have a great experience here! The food is good and fresh... And the service is fantastic. Always very friendly and prompt. My favorite two dishes are the fish tacos (I always end up having two or three) and the breaded chicken Torta. It's a sandwich and it's damn awesome! read more

This is the most authentic Latin food around. The whole family loved this place. The portions are huge. A family of four can probably fill up on two orders. We were the only non-Spanish speaking people in the restaurant, which is a great sign. We highly recommend this place! read more

Good food and service. Huge menu. Will come back when we have a taste for some authentic Mexican.

I really loved the food at this place. I can't comment on the service because I got take out when I ordered from here but the food was amazing. read more

Hole in the wall restaurant, but the food was good. The servings are large and there is a lot to choose from on the menu. I noticed some non traditional menu items were available that I haven't seen available at other Mexican restaurants in the area. The salsa tasted fresh, the customer service was excellent and the place was clean. I will be going back! read more

I have been searching for authentic mexican food here in Atlanta for 2 weeks now. Although the food wasn't bad, it was not what I had hoped for. Their homemade spicy salza was above average and very tasty though. read more

No! The food was not good at all. Mine wasn't seasoned and my mom's was burnt! My sister's was burnt and really dry! The fajita plates didn't even come with rice like usual Mexican restaurants. My dad was the only one who enjoy his meal. Plus, the corn tortillas were nasty! That's not even the worse part. For 4.5 people, our total was $70!! That is way too much. It's not even a decent looking restaurant. We will never come back here in our lives! read more

Ate here a little bit ago, food was excellent. Mine was takeout but when I got home, i had no complaints period about the food. Everything I ordered was great tasting. read more
