It's no wonder that the kids from the high school can be found hanging out here after school and on weekends, munching on the pre-made sandwiches, fresh fried chicken and chicharones. Good for a cold soda too. My husband has an unhealthy addiction to the bean and cheese fried burritos, so we're in there fairly often. The owner, Margaret Hurtado, is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. The other ladies are very friendly and helpful too. Just a nice little small-town market that really benefits the neighborhood.

Above and beyond expectations!…read more We we looking for a highly reviewed portable basketball hoop for our grandson. Many reviews complained that they wished they spent more but did get what they paid for the price. We found an outstanding unit , but out of stock in the Bay Area. Raul at the online center found ONE in Patterson so we ordered and planned to drive out to pick it up. We were notified five hours later that they could not locate the one unit that was listed. After calling multiple Walmart locations we went back to the.com customer service. Mark scoured the computer system all over Northern California and found two were available in Los Banos and made multiple attempts to contact them and have one held for us. We finally got a hold of Rene the manager in LosBanos in the sports department and she took her time to chase it down found they only had one left and was willing to hold it for us. So we packed her bags to get the special gift that fit all of the criteria are grand son wanted and headed down to pick it up and everything went smooth from there It is not often I can truly say that large corporate online services went way above and beyond all expectations. Also we found the exact same model at other competitors but they were definitely 25 to 50% more expensive for the exact same make and model. Rose to Walmart and they're truly amazing staff at the LosBanos and Dotcom offices.

We would have spent more, but the rude lady at the bakery was cleaning and didn't acknowledge any of us or even look up. We gave up on buying anything sweet after standing there trying to get her attention for 10 minutes since apparently they only clean floors here and don't actually help customers. This same lady put her hoodie on and left and ended up right in front of us in Amanda's line checking out. These two conversed then we walked up. We said hello, no response. She kept her head down the entire time and refused to make eye contact or acknowledge us. That's fine. We paid for our items, but looked back and an older non brown lady walked up and she was greeted and treated with decency. This Amanda is probably the rudest cashier I've come across and we have Walmarts in our town. Lol IYKYK She is the reason this store should have self checkout. Next time in Yosemite or Mariposa, we won't be giving this store anymore of our hard earned money.

We also got yummy fresh apricots, pecans in their hard shells, and quite a few bags of roasted nuts for snacking.
