    Poutine, fish and chips

really relaxing brewpub by the lake, very nice view on the patio. We came here in the summer on a Saturday around 12, surprisingly we didn't have to wait for a while to get an outdoor patio seat overlooking the river. The food is pretty good, loved the variety of poutine options, we got the one with chicken nuggets, loved by my daughter. The burgers are good. Calamari is a bit average, the sun dried tomato sauce is good though. Fish and chips is pretty good, huge piece of fish fillet and very fresh.

Great fun place with outdoor seating. Great poutine and beer. First place we went to when we arrived.

Super cozy spot right in town beside the marina. Walked in to a warm fire place going in the middle of the restaurant with leather lounge type chairs everywhere. We started off with the cheese dip which had bacon and onions. It came with warm bread it really wasn't my favourite tasted a bit like pea soup. We then had the beef jerky and cheese, beef jerky was good and I hate beef jerky and the cheese was fresh and not to salty. It went well with the picture of white beer we got which was very fresh like brand new. We finished off with the 6 duck wings in Louisiana sauce that came with blue cheese dipping sauce. It was okay but the blue cheese sauce was watered down way to much wish they didn't do that. We decided to end the day with a rick Ross to try out. It was supposed to be Jameson, triple sec and lemonade. We switch it for bourbon because I love bourbon lemonade. It was good but needed a second shot. I would like to try some more items off the menu next time and a few more beers. Great location and fun time.

Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing beer. Amazing view by the water. You can't ask for much more. I'd highly recommended this place to anybody. Due to COVID there was a line up on Saturday night so we went Sunday evening instead. The place is always packed. The reuban sandwich with the side of fried pickles was too notch. The duck salad was also lovely. Beer number 2 in their menu is stellar.

Great microbrews and a hopping atmosphere. We ordered a few starters and one main. They have a very interesting (good) menu with lots of different items you don't normally see at other brassieres. Things like duck wings, cauliflower fritters, and others I can't remember. (I need to start taking pics of the menus to make my life easy). On the beer front they had a variety of light, heavy, fragrant, blond, red, stout. We ordered 2 different tastings, luckily my wife liked the light and fragrant ones, where I prefer the heavier higher alcohol ones. I would definitely go back. If you go be sure to make reservations or go on an off hour.

What a great brew pub! Stylish but comfortable, central fireplace, big windows, long leather benches, a second floor with a view of the river, cool bar stools made of kegs, all kinds of neat things going on. The kitchen closes at 10pm so when we arrived in town, starving, to discover that our big city assumptions were likely to leave us hungry, Le Memphre made us nachos. We did the tasting flight and there were some interesting things going on in there, and some funky things, but the IPA was really clear and fresh and sharp and super nice, we drank several more pints of that guy over the weekend. The staff were universally friendly and prompt and easy going. We never ended up eating a full meal here but I'd go back to try it, looked several notches above your usual pub food.

Been making a trip here annually for 4 years now. Everything pretty much stays the same. Consistently tasty beers and good food, at fair prices. Staff speaks English, so I don't have to butcher the French language when I order, which is nice.

And then our last one was the Woodland Wit, a citrusy wheat beer with spices. We tried to go to the Sutton Brewery but they were packed, so ended up at Dunham again. Again, the waitress was rude, non-knowledgeable and stand-offish. The service and the food are meh and it's WAY WAY overpriced. Our 3 piece family got 2 beers, a veggie burger and two poutines....oh and an apple juice...and with tip it was over $100 Canadian. Leo's Early Breakfast for many of us was hands down the best beer of the event. From that moment on, I knew I needed to get to this brewery. I live in the US, but have family that lives in Granby QC. Granby is just a short drive to Dunham. On my most recent trip we made plans to visit the brewery. We decided to go on a Friday night. We quickly learned that the following day was going to be the 3rd anniversary party. We were having such a great time sampling all of the beers, talking with the brewer, and remembering the great time we had in VT, we decided to come back again on Saturday for the big party. The 3rd Anniversary party had a great turnout. Many people arrived to pick up their pre-ordered beer for the special bottle release. Others waited in line in hopes to get a few of the remaining bottles. Following the bottle pickup, there was a truly unique beer dinner. For the price they were charging with all of the courses and beers included it was easy to see that this was a big "thank you" to it's customers. The dinner was fantastic. Many of the items served were works of art and science. Candied grape tomatoes, gel of Leo's Early Breakfast, beads off sauce to accompany the steak, etc.. Live music in the bar closed out the night. What a celebration! Anniversary or not, Dunham Brewery is a great spot. Stop by and sample some of their world class beers.

This brewery was known to be superior 8 or so years ago. Us hop heads in CT dreamed about it but never tasted. We were curious, their location was intriguing. It also made us skeptical. So the snow is falling, it's approaching 4pm, the drive brings you up a hill on the dirt road. Add beer to the uncertainty of the moment, it was perfect for anxiety, excitement and first tastes. Draft one was a nitro stout. Yeah, like Guinness but... UNBELIEVABLE. Just that good. Then an IPA close to their origin. Simple. Again, UNBELIEVABLE. Easy sell, I bought each 4 pack available. Asked for a restaurant in Montpelier. The Three Penny Taproom was... UNBELIEVABLE. (Chickpeas, Chicken Nuggs and Hill Farmstead all over the place.) Of course the brewery guys recommended it, and the gas station at Willey's in Greensboro. So we survived the "brief flurry", and a Taproom extraordinaire. The beer is ready for a Connecticut Christmas and will be compared to the beer from Burlington, Stowe and Deerfield. All great brews. The anticipation of enjoying Hill Farmstead beer was just as exciting as the trip and first taste. So, If you need a trip, find them. No complaining about the distance and remoteness, please. It's where they are. Yeah, you can find the beer in other places in state. I look forward to getting it at those spots. I look forward to seeing the brewery in the summer!
