A really cool place to stop in and have a quick bite to eat and a drink. They have various small restaurants which give you options. Some of the option I saw were tacos, sushi, pizza, burgers and empanadas. We stopped at the taco stand and enjoyed some really good tacos. I had the churrasco and my girlfriend had the red snapper. Both were equally delicious. You can also just sit and chill and you get a great view of the water while there. Essentially everything there is short of cafeteria style. A great outdoor food venue. There are multiple food stations - but not all of them were open when we arrived. There was music and a bar too. Loved the breezy atmosphere and the outdoor area that allowed kids to run around at lunch. There are a mix of high tops, normal tables and outdoor couches to sit on. This spot is perfect for a beautiful island like Puerto Rico ! Located in the amazing area of Condado and even better facing directly towards the beautiful ocean! We recently took a trip to Puerto Rico with some friends and we wanted to try some of the best places on the island. Luckily we stayed close by and we were able to find this gem! The awesome part is that whatever you are in the mood for ( as far a food goes ) this is the perfect spot! They have little shops set up throughout the market like Greek, Mexican, bars, Hispanic food ... anything! The service was amazing! We noticed that they had a lot of youth working but they were so professional and knowledgeable and overall amazing people! The service was also very fast and convenient! They even have a way to text you directly when your food is ready that way you can go and take a seat anywhere you'd like and wait for your food! The food was absolutely delicious! Some of the best pinchos I've had :) ! Now the only reason I'm giving only 4 stars is the fact that a lot of the menus are not dated. So many of the menu items are no longer served or have been replaced with other things that aren't on the menu. But overall ... amazing food, environment, view, and service! read more

Fun selection of traditional and creative foods. If you make a reservation for your group you will have a dedicated server to take care of your bar needs. I imagine this would be a good place for families with young children. The Mac n cheese place was fun, empanadas and sushi good. But do yourself a favor and order the donuts and ice cream from the empanada place! So delicious, we shared it between four people and still couldn't finish. Just don't go if it's windy and raining! There are little kiosk where you can order DELICIOUSLY fresh sushi, a taqueria, a seafood place, and waitresses that will bring drinks. It's covered but open air. CHECK YOUR BILL! In splitting the cost of our meal, none of us realized we had been charged $45 a bottle for a wine that was quoted by Kristal as priced at $25 (3 of the 6 of us heard her on two separate occasions...the initial bottle, and then again before we ordered the 2nd and 3rd, which we took to go because we thought it was a good value). We realized our mistake upon returning to our hotel and called to speak with someone. We had to leave a detailed message as we received a recording. NO ONE ever returned our call. Tonight, after dining at STK (great place, BTW!), we walked by La Marqueta and crossed paths with Kristal --who clearly was aware of the issue and that we had noticed her error. She became defensive and said we had all misheard her. Kristal went on to insinuate that it was OUR fault for not checking the bill more closely. True. Worse experience My family and I visited this place looking for an outdoor seating area where we could enjoy dinner. The place only had a handful of families and after 40 minutes a waiter came over to get our order for the Puerto Rican restaurant. After a long wait, the waiter came over with the drinks (beer and soda) and completely spilled the entire tray of drinks over my daughter and I. The manager didn't come to the table. While I'm leaving the place and my daughter is crying, the manager sat down to have dinner himself. He knew about the situation and all he had to say was that it was not his fault because the waiter is not a real waiter. How disrespectful. Please do not go to this place. Twice I returned my lasagna for being frozen inside, the second time I took a refund. The young lady had the personality of a door knob. Parking was not validated (asked before returning the food) for me was $4.50 for 45min; I heard $10 flat rate, and another said 2hr free...La Marquta doesnt have it straight!! How do you eat a lasagna from a deep plastic cereal bowl??? Many many complaints of price, amount and mostly quality of the food!! Came in today for lunch, ordered food in a place called Tropikal, the former Jose Enrique spot. It used to be great. This time around, I waited for an hour and no food was delivered. I end up returning the beeper and walked away w/o eating, and I have paid already. Typically on a Saturday I had waited while enjoying the awesome view in this place. Yet, at some point the spots around me started playing really loud music. Considering that the central and shared courtyard is also playing music, it was unbearable to my ears. It was super unpleasant. No one could listen to that. I told the guy at the door about it and apparently he likes the chaos and did not appreciated me telling him. I said thanks for your time and walked away. This place is going down hill quick. Sad! read more

I ordered from 4 of the 10? menus available in this lovely shipping container artificial marketplace. Unfortunately this meant that all the nifty "Your food is ready at La Marqueta!" text messages I got weren't as helpful as they could have been, but it all worked out. Everything but the baba ghanoush was very much to my liking. The baba wasn't nearly smoky enough. I was part of a large group and we were able to bring two large picnic tables together in the grass by the Atlantic Ocean. It's hard to imagine a better ambience if that's what you're in the mood for. Food was excellent bang for buck. Check it out! The only glaring drawback is the lack of parking. The area is pricy, but I don't blame the proprietors for not tackling this. Check it out! You won't regret it read more

This is a suspect cool spot right in front of the ocean to enjoy the view with. Pre-covid there were even tables and sofas on the grass area close to the water but the view is still easily enjoyed on the tables in the shade.
