Really enjoyed this restaurant! The service and the food were awesome! We had a fresh snook ceviche with a citrus flavor, the beer shank tacos with bone marrow that had a delicious savory and sweet flavor combined. Our beverages were the Moscow Mule and the specialty Margarita. The ambiance is simple and charming. My BFF and I were completely satisfied and satiated with the great appetizer style meal that we ended up sharing. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Coconut shrimp with potatoes

The restaurant is just off the square and easy to find. My wife and I had dinner here with an 8:00 reservation. Glad we had one because the place was packed within five minutes. My wife started off with a nice vodka tonic and I tried to order an old fashioned on their drink menu. I asked what bourbon do they use and they came back with something that was not bourbon. Decided to pass and ordered a good margarita. My wife wanted pasta and I wanted shrimp. She ordered the cilantro cream shrimp and pasta and I got the coconut shrimp. She loved the shrimp and cilantro cream sauce. She ended up requesting more sauce. I enjoyed the coconut shrimp. Nice big shrimp covered in just the right amount of coconut. Not too sweet. The restaurant is very nice and had a nice vibe. Service was good and waitstaff very friendly. Look forward to going back when in Campeche.

Definitely a very good restaurant!! Nothing special to say, than it has been ever said before... Cocktails were sweet and tasty! Food was delicate and typical! The bill was a little more expensive than some restaurant in Campeche... but it was worth it! And staff ... as Mexican way of waitering... Awesome!

A total gem! Had a wonderful early dinner the menu is full of local foods with a modern twist. The food is light and filling but not so heavy as much of the food you will find in the area. Every dish flavorful and unique. You are welcomed by a wonderful attentive staff who brings you some chips and been dip. We had guacamole, and the grilled veggies to get us started both delicious. As our main we had the pasta and a beet salad along with a michelada and a Chaya drink. The beet salad was the highlight of the meal. As a vegetarian it's is not always easy to find a wonderful dish which is filling and different. The chef came out to chat with us and was great at sharing his vision for the food and how they have grown. They take the feedback of customers to adjust the menu. The only downfall was the lack of AC. It did not affect us but it is very hot in Campeche and some people might find it hard to enjoy a meal in the heat. The owner did mention that they will be installing AC in the near future. A must go to!

Ok... what a hidden gem this La Maria is! Cute squeaky clean cute and trendy with very kind and helpful staff. The food tasted amazing but the presentation was SO beautiful and fun. Their prices are so reasonable. Better get here before they find out what a hidden treasure they have and raise them! Lol. Loved it!

Fantastic place. We stopped by for a lunch and decided to come back for a dinner the same day. Service was outstanding, food very delicious and atmosphere very relaxing. We tried both sample sets along with fish tacos and shrimp salad. Everything was super refreshing, and their homemade drinks were also amazing, Would definitely come back here again

Tempura fish tacos...beautiful presentation and tasted even better. Service was excellent...a hidden gem in Campeche!!!

Outstanding southeast Mexican flavor, we came twice within our 6 days trip. You should try el Queso de Bola and the Poc chuc.

Chef Arturo has done a great job integrating local and traditional ingredients, spices and techniques into very interesting dishes. Check out the wine list for some very nice wines. Service is very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Servers Carlos (dinner) and Jocelyn (breakfast and lunch) were great. They were very helpful with our limited Spanish. Given the US dollar exchange rate, the prices were extremely reasonable. The setting is beautiful. Check out the pictures on the hotel website. https://www.marriott.com/hotels/hotel-information/restaurant/cpehl-hacienda-puerta-campeche-a-luxury-collection-hotel-campeche/ The added benefit is that the restaurant was never crowded. This place is comparable to the best restaurants in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, or anywhere. We tried other places in Campeche and they cannot compare.; If you are looking for a unique gastronomic experience give it a try.
