It is superior to the best restaurants close to our home in the Sacramento area (California). And, the service is exceptional (it's crazy busy at lunch, packed with suits and blue collars, works best if you show up after 1:00 p.m.). The cuisine is Provençal French, with Spanish influence. It helps to know French (the owners don't speak English). Some of the menu items are made with tripe, or other organ meats, which I don't particularly care for (this is where French fluency comes in handy). Specials change daily. One of my most memorable meals was pork / couscous, with spices reminiscent of paella, and lavender crème bruleé for dessert. Dinner for two, with appetizers, before dinner drinks, wine, salad, entrees, dessert, and after dinner drinks, ran about sixty to seventy Euros, or approximately $100. The owners love their craft, and it shows.
