Lyle Marsh has a very large and modern play area. Lots of things for kids to safely climb (photos). It has plenty of space for Moms (and Dads) to have play dates for their kids. There are benches and covered picnic areas in several locations throughout the park. Nice! It might be from my years of playing too much SIMM City, but towns who invest and provide first rate facilities for their citizens seem to "get it" and continue to grow. Enjoy!

Right away I noticed how family friendly, clean, and safe this place is. There were little league teams playing inside the park, as well as people walking along the trails that run along the length of this place. Along the trails are workout stations, which was great for a fitness enthusiast such as myself. This park, much like this part of the IE, is a gem. Clean, safe, and a community that supports the blue line family and the veteran community. I'd give this great park six stars, if I was given the option.

Theres plenty of grassy area for kids to play soccer, football, frisbee, etc., there 2 basketball hoops (half court), 2 shaded picnic areas, baby swings and kids/adult swings, rock climbing, zip line, slides, and play area. They closed the water area every 30 min to allow the next group of people in line in. But before they did that the lifeguards wiped down all areas of the play structures. It was a process but nonetheless the kiddos had a great time. Luckily, I had extra clothes for the grandkids to change out of, otherwise we would have to play in the dry playground while hearing and seeing the kids enjoy the Splash Pad. The playground has their rules and regulation posted on the gates. The restrooms are just outside of the play area, so very convenient. There is nice green grass in some areas and some picnic tables and stationary benches. I believe on of the rules is that you cannot set up canopy's, but I did see people set up a couple. I don't know if they have someone police the area if people are abiding by the rules. It wasn't a bother to anyone but I'm sure there is a reason for having that rule. The play area is nicely padded. The play equipment is nicely spread out where you could really view your littles as they run free with your close eye on them. There are different areas with equipment that is age appropriate. For sure I would return. Plenty of parking, it is clean and the grandkids and I love it here!

After speaking with other people at the park, we were told the City of Temecula does not currently have plans to reopen it. This information definitely needs to be updated online so families know before making the trip. Aside from that, the playground itself is very clean and has a nice rubberized surface for the kids. There is a massive toddler playground with its own separate swing set, along with a larger playground for older kids. It is honestly a nice park, and the closed splash pad is the only reason I am giving it three stars.

The parks great for competitive sports. My son has been playing baseball and football here for…read moreyears. The fields are always well kept and managed properly; even the bathrooms are pretty clean. Being a sports themed park, it tends to get busy when multiple sports are going at one time. In addition, there are only 2 entrances to the park, which causes a lot of congestion. Overall, it's a nice park but I wouldn't consider having a birthday party or some other type of function that didn't include organized sports here.

Even a couple of areas to shoot some hoops. Bathrooms are well maintained and overall the lawns are great not having to deal with gopher holes or anything that's a hazard very often. It's late afternoon here during soccer and baseball season, it is a literal madhouse trying to find parking. So give yourself plenty of time to drive the loop or look for places to park.
