Right away I noticed how family friendly, clean, and safe this place is. There were little league teams playing inside the park, as well as people walking along the trails that run along the length of this place. Along the trails are workout stations, which was great for a fitness enthusiast such as myself. This park, much like this part of the IE, is a gem. Clean, safe, and a community that supports the blue line family and the veteran community. I'd give this great park six stars, if I was given the option.

Lyle Marsh has a very large and modern play area. Lots of things for kids to safely climb (photos). It has plenty of space for Moms (and Dads) to have play dates for their kids. There are benches and covered picnic areas in several locations throughout the park. Nice! It might be from my years of playing too much SIMM City, but towns who invest and provide first rate facilities for their citizens seem to "get it" and continue to grow. Enjoy!

There are playgrounds, of course. Plenty of tables and chairs placing under a cover around the playground. People could come out here to play basketball, baseball, soccer, football, flying kites, walk, run, and pickleballs. Restroom is available. Parking lot is not a lot, but I didn't have any trouble finding parking. Having a birthday party? I think it's a great place to have fun and celebrate. One thing I wish the park has is a couple polls holding dog waste bags. As a dog owner, I carry dog bags with me when I walk my dog, but people can forget to bring them. Having this essential item available will help to keep this park clean.

About 75% of the park is perfectly lit, the other 25% was pitch black. The soccer field was totally dark and there's this odd stretch of dirt near the Centennial Park sign, it's not very appealing. The lighting situation here is strange as the massive baseball field has awesome, stadium level lighting. I visited for the first time for the Menifee Moonlight Market and I had a great time. There's plenty of room for vendors, live music and food trucks/tents!
