I was donating a house full of furniture to Salvation Army through ReSupply, and they sent out a father and son team from LA Junks. After they left I noticed they had not taken the dining room table and chairs which the father said I removed them, which I had not. I then noticed they had scratched the "real hardwood" floors. There are multiple scratches on two levels of the townhouse I am moving from and when I contacted the owner his response was unless you can prove it I'm not paying for it. I didn't take pictures prior to them moving the furniture, I trusted they were professional, big mistakes on my part. Using this company to move obviously puts you at peril. read more

I needed to get a huge, oversized sectional sofa out of a second floor townhouse before my new sofa arrived. It is quite a job as the sectional does not fit down the stairs and must be hoisted from 2nd story patio down. I contacted LA Junks for an estimate. I was super nervous about the time window and whether or not they would be able to hoist the sofa down, since it's a bit of a challenge and required 2 strong men. The owner assure me it would be no problem. LA Junks showed up on time and the men were very strong, friendly and capable problem solvers. I saw their truck on Friday after striking out with all other hauling services. I called for a quote on Saturday. They were very competitive and great communication! The truck came 15 minutes early on Sunday morning and quickly hauled away two dressers, six dining chairs, and a broken wine cabinet. I needed a thick pile of broken down boxes, 25-30 trash bags, and a full size mattress and bed frame hauled away. Sebouh was available for the day and time I needed, but the other person wasn't available. Sebouh still offered to come alone. I told him I'd probably keep checking around because I was concerned that he couldn't do it on his own. There was a gate with a code that closes automatically, another door that requires a key, and 15-20 stairs (including a small landing) leading up to the second floor, (where the unit was). He insisted he could handle the job, and against my instincts, I booked him. He showed up at 12:12pm and was out by 12:30pm! He was quick, efficient, none of the walls or property was damaged and he clearly knew what he was doing. I will definitely use his services again! read more
