We had to wait for our truck as it was getting fixed nearby. This was walking distance and I was happy that it was there. I won't say that it was the best Mexican restaurant ever, but it was okay. The margaritas were a bit watered, but after the 2nd one, did I notice? I tried the ceviche and it was pretty good. That with chips and the margarita, perfect combo. I need to visit again to give it a second chance. ........ .. .... .. .. read more

Service, 1/5. 20 minutes waiting to order and by then we had to go up to the counter and order to go! Waste of time but at least it may be good. Food 1/5. NOOOOOPE!! How do you F up a burrito and enchilada meal? Well congrats, you found the place that will. How about the quesadilla you ask??? Was able to get 3 bites down then into the trash it goes. I need to be way more drunk to eat this crap. Better off eating 4 day old Taco Bell. Overall 1/5 Won't return and you shouldn't either. Not sure who TF is rating this over 2 stars, psychos everywhere apparently. read more

Hands down best Mexican food in town!! Food is AMAZING and service is great!! Highly recommended!!!! read more

The best! Better than our favorite place in baja! Gracias! The service is great and the owners are awesome too!

Food is fantastic! Cute little Mexican themed interior. The service is attentive, orders are on the table within 15 minutes. We live close and often order to go, orders are put together so they arrive at home much like ordering in. Portions are very big. I Highly recommend you give La Herradura a try! read more

The food is delicious!! Highly recommended. I ordered a carne asada and it was tasty and delicious just like I make it at home. The waitress made small talk about family and was very welcoming since we were driving home to Salem. read more

Very good chipotle chicken entree! Awesome and friendly service as well. Will come back and try more

Good authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price!! I like the Chile rellano, the taquitos, and the enchiladas so far! I will have the chili verde next time! The salsa is pretty good but Margaritas Mexican food might have them beat on that. This place serves a micro brew which is what I like and the service is quick!! read more

Food was fantastic, pickup order was ready on time, the staff were so friendly and kind, and the Modelo was ice cold. This has definitely become our go-to for Mexican food, it's hands down the best place we've tried since moving to Coos Bay. Do yourself a favor and stop in to try it!! read more

The only place in town that makes a good Chili Colorado sauce. Really like the fajitas here and the drinks are mixed well. We have become regulars as they are pretty consistent with the quality and service. read more

La Herradura - Shredded Beef Chimichanga and a Combo Beef/ Chicken Fajita. - Mexican Near Me - North Bend, Oregon

Some of the best Mexican food that I've ever tasted not bad for a food truck you're asking for too much that's why I never finish a review

I always enjoy this place. Ordered the carne asada burrito. I was told if the beans at Mexican restaurant is good to eat on its own. The food would be delicious. And it was. Take out or dine in. read more

I had the taco & enchiladas combo plate. Everything was delicious. My friend ordered the shredded beef burrito. It was HUGE and very tasty. She doggy bagged half. The booths are colorful and comfy. Service was good. read more

La Herradura - a plate of food with a fork in it - Mexican Near Me - North Bend, Oregon

Love the restaurant and staff . They have an amazing lunch menu. The food is always cooked to perfection. Definitely worth a stop.

Excellent service. Do yourself a favor and order the Mexican Pizza. I've been craving it the last few weeks.

Terrible. Service, food atmosphere it all was very unpleasant but what can u expect when you are on the Oregon coast and eating at a Mexican restaurant... very disappointed in staff and the food. Don't recommend read more

This is good stuff. Beans are nicely cooked with cheese topping, rice there and ready is u get too hot an order. My chicken taco was perfect with a little guac or salsa on it. My tostada was too big for just me. 1 is plenty. The real surprise was that cheese enchilada, 2 cheeses with smooth red sauce. So no meat sauce was a sad thing. No heat even with medium spice ordered. Service fast snd professional, tables plentiful and clean. Nearly perfect everyday Mexican. Eat here. prices are right for quantity. read more

Working here a week, so good had to eat here twice! Good fast service, good food, walking distance to quality inn.

We've been here almost every time we're in Coos Bay, and the food is why. The only bad thing is they don't do free refills on your drink, however, that's not a major deal if you know that when you order. Portions and food are good, and the prices aren't too high. It's definitely authentic and worth a stop. The location can be hard to find - if you're able to find Pony Village Mall, it's just to the east of it. read more

We've been dining here for years when we are in town. Our experience today left us a little disappointed. The food was okay but a bit less than we remembered it. Perhaps the pandemic has impacted the restaurant enough to cut back on some things we were expecting. I had "Pollo Diablo" - lots of Diablo, not much Pollo. Mostly onion and sauce with a fair portion of mushrooms but little meat. There was a noticeable lack of seafood from the menu that we remembered - basically all that was offered at lunch is shrimp. Before we had choices of local fish prepared in traditional Mexican sauces. More seafood may be available at dinner. We visited the restaurant just after opening at 11:00, and the small staff were still preparing tables etc. Service was prompt, but considering we were the only diners, that might not always be the case. We may give this restaurant one more try for dinner, but if they are unable to return to the menu they offered pre-pandemic, there is really no reason to seek them out. Traditional Mexican cuisine is widely available with better atmosphere elsewhere. read more

The quantities are big here if this is what you are looking for. Prices are a bit higher ( reflecting the price of gas) and taste was okay. Really great Chile relleno and bean were good. My wife had the sopas which were a bit on the dry side. Service was great. Place is clean and well kept. I am still trying to find a place here that comes close to what you find in so. The restaurant is small, and the staff are very friendly. I had a delicious burrito with rice and beans. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food and great service. Arturo is our favorite server and he knows our order by heart. He's so great to my kids, too! I'm from Arizona and lived in California for several years, so it's hard to beat the Mexican food from border states. La Herradura does a very good job. Wish they served breakfast! read more

Felt compelled to leave my first yelp review bc this place was delicious. I'm from California and love Mexican food so I like to think I am a good judge. La Herradura was really yummy. I got take out but everyone was kind and helpful. Chile relleno was very good. read more

Pretty sure all these "Mexican" restaurants are clones of some secret "restaurant-zero"... not authentic Mexican, they are unaware that there are plant-based cheeses and proteins... but the ambiance seems to be Mexican??? read more

I ordered chicken tacos they were okay. My husband got the cheese enchiladas and he liked them.

Salsa is amazing. Excellent customer service, food and drinks. I recommend this mexican restaurant to every mexican good lover

We came here based on other reviews. The food was hot and delicious. The shredded beef flautas were very tender and tasted great. The service was also on point. My water glass never ran empty and we were checked on throughout the meal. I did knock one star as the restaurant is small and the parking very limited. Keep this in mind if you choose this yummy restaurant. read more

I have liked this place in the past. But yesterday I found they had changed. I never thought tacos could be messed up but they did it. The chicken inside the tacos was watery and had not been drained, it did not have a flavor which surprised me. Then the second taco was soggy and pliable from the watery chicken. I never thought this would happen. After eating what I could I ended feeling unwell and got sick. What happened to this place? It used to be so good. read more

Friendly family-run feel with solid Mexican restaurant-style dishes. Some really good components, salsas, chips, meats for the dishes but the beans and sauces were not bad but could be better to put this place over the top. The service was great and they keep a good eye on what their guests need. read more

Just visited La Herradura for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! Their food is authentic and fresh. Everything from the blackberry margarita to the beans & rice was absolutely delicious. Will be coming back. read more

It is a little place right next to Ross. The service is good and the bathrooms are clean. They sell Coronas which is always a plus for me. I ordered the #3 combo enchilada shredded beef and tamale. Both were smothered in cheese but still a little dry. The flavoring is good. We also ordered the chili verde burrito. Large serving. The sauce was very thin for the big chunks of pork. The rice was a little hard, (maybe a day old) but still good tasting. The beans were delicious! I would order a bean burrito if I go back. They had a distinct flavor that was great. The chips were not the best and did not taste fresh. The salsa was average and the coleslaw they bring out with the salsa tastes like the carrot juice mix and is tasty. The chicken taquitos were thick and crispy. We had to order a side of guacamole and had to add salt but I would order them again. Now the cheese enchilada and chili relleno was the best. Melted cheese, perfect spice, as soon as I cut into the chili relleno the cheese just melted out. Absolutely delicious. I would go back. They have a large menu, lots of choices, good prices, hot food and plate, good service. read more

We stopped here halfway through a 5 hour road trip up to Newport. We were craving Mexican and this popped up on Yelp. The most important thing to us was outdoor seating, which they had. Picnic tables in front of the restaurant reassured us as we hadn't done a sit down dinner at a restaurant since March! The waiters and waitresses were all wearing masks and gloves, and there was hand sanitizer and a plexiglass shield in front of the counter. The food was great, huge portions for lunch at only ~7.25 (price has gone up a bit since the last menu photos were posted). I've included what I had, which was the #9, an enchilada and bean tostada with beans and rice. Really good, classic and fulfilling Mexican food, not spicy (which I like!) so if you're looking for some more spice you can put the salsa from the chips in it, or use some hot sauce. Not pictured, but we also had the #8 which is an enchilada and tamale. The tamale was just okay, if we were ever back again we'd probably get something else. The food cane out piping hot so we felt safe in that sense. Overall, very good bang for your buck, delicious and safe, would recommend! read more
