So we went to eat about 330. We were then only people in the restaurant. We ordered our food. The waiter said they were cleaning the fryer and it would be about 10 minutes for the wings. Okay no problem. So 3 more sets of customers drift in after us. We had ordered cheese dip, we finished one bowl of chips, no cheese sauce. I had to ask for it. One table got their food. 45 minutes later, I asked when our food was ready to put it in togo boxes, because we had to go. They brought out the last table that had arrived, food as I was asking them to box up our food when it was ready. The waiter said I told you the wings would be delayed, and I said you could have brought us the rest of our food while we waited. And who cleans theor fryer in the middle of the day?? He said, well you didn't say that, like I didnt say I wanted the cheese sauce while we were actually eating the chips. I have never eaten at a place where they held all your food until one item was ready. My husband said that was the first time he left a restaurant hungrier than when he got there. The food I ordered was sad looking when I got home and opened the box. We will never come here again. Also, if you talk to your new customers like you talk to the obvious regulars, maybe people would look to come back. Again, we won't come back, we can go to Ayalas or Dayton for much better food and good service. We were told to sit wherever we wanted. Our water and chips came out in a timely manner. We then had to flag someone down to order after 20 minutes of waiting. Delivery of food took another 15. Food quality was okay. I was over charged. When I kindly pointed out the mistake, they re-rang my order but still charge me a 4% credit card "Admin" fee even though I paid cash. negative 5 stars I would they could the whole order wrong (more than 60 dollars worth of food) asked for beef taco's (got chicken) asked for beef chimichangas got steak (I know most people won't complain about that but I have sensitive teeth they're online menu says it's beef) they didn't put any "cheese sauce" on anything we had to use the side order(all of it mind you) on all of our meals and no other orders of it) so the Queso dip we paid extra for was used as the topping their menu said was included with the dish and when I called to complain there wasn't a manager to talk too cause "they're understaffed" I'd just go to Ayala's if I was anyone even remotely glancing at this despicable excuse for a restaurant the spring city La Hacienda doesn't need to be a restaurant at all read more

Just no. Its a pizza place disguised as a Mexican restaurant. SAlsa tastes like tomato and black pepper. I asked for one of the deserts posted on a poster inside. None available. I won't be back to try the pizza .tables weren't wiped as well . staff was polite but seemed a little put off when asking about authenticity of food. read more

Let me start by saying I am from Southern California so I have a higher standard of what I consider good Mexican food not trying to be bougie but just trying to keep it real. I ordered the molcajete. And to be honest it was not really something I cared for. I love a good mocha headache but all the meat with chopped up into little pieces and mixed together with some melted cheese on top not my idea of a real molcajete. It had decent flavor but just not a lot of content in it and again I prefer my meat to be in larger pieces. I also ordered a chili relleno. The chile relleno kind of reminded me of something you buy in the frozen food section. It was not horrible but it really wasn't what I considered a real chili relleno and the fact that it tasted like they put spaghetti sauce on top of it. But from what I understand this place also makes pizza so who knows. The staff was super friendly and warm and inviting. The restaurant itself was very clean and tidy. I have been to two other Mexican restaurants in Tennessee and they all seem to be about the same level. Not over boo place if you want Mexican food yes it will work. But unfortunately for me I just used to more authentic Mexican food. read more

It took 20 minutes to get my salad, 45 minutes to get my food, didn't keep our drinks filled, had to ASK to get drinks refilled, that took them 5 minutes to do by the way. The food wasn't worth the wait, save your time and go to Deliahs just up the road. Didn't even bring our check to us! Had to get it ourselves. If I could give it less than 1 star, I would. read more

I do not understand the negative reviews. Some of them are older, but that still makes no sense, because I have been going here for years. I frequent this restaurant when I can afford to go out to eat. Everyone is friendly. I have never had a problem with service. Chips and salsa usually are brought to the table as soon as I sit down. This is a local, fairly small restaurant, which does not have or need a large waitstaff. If it is busy and you have to wait a minute, try to have a bit of patience. Your mother may treat you like a king, but you aren't one. I have always enjoyed the food. I thing you get a good value for the price. As for mixed drinks, this is still a dry county folks. Restaurants have to follow suit or they lose customers over it. If your mission is to go out to drink, then go to a bar. If you can enjoy a dining experience without the need for alcohol, this is a great place! BTW, they are moving to a Front Street location. read more

Terrible. Save your money. The place doesn't even sell drinks. With that said there is literally no reason to go here. I got shredded beef in my chimichangas and my brother also did in his burritos. The beef was cubed. The party also got a pizza. The pizza reminded me however of something you'd find in a frozen food aisle. Our complimentary salsa was watery. Probably store bought if I had to take a guess. Another in our party got a gyro. He said he wasn't sure it was lamb. Another person got spaghetti and meatballs with extra meatballs, no extra meatballs came out. The menu had quite a bit to it. In most of my experience's I find a large menu to be a bad sign. In this instance it seemed like they had a lot of options in an effort counter the fact that nothing on the menu was good. I noticed mostly emptied gum ball type candy machines. That didn't alter my experience at all but I think it is a bad sign generally. Management or the owners can't afford or make the effort to spend the two dollars? We noticed that La Hacienda was spelled incorrectly on a booth also. Lastly for the negative, after we finished eating a swarm of flies came down on all of the remaining food before we left. The only positive about this place was our server. She was a sweetheart. I saw no name on her uniform but she either had a faint tattoo or a drawn on broken black heart near her right elbow. I came in here with my friend and I ordered a LOADED NACHO. Now you know that chips veggies meat and cheese and it's HOT AND COOKED. But my waiter brought me out a taco salad. Waited for it to be remade, took so long that my friend had finished they're food and I wasn't even offered mine to go and still had to pay for the taco salad that I DID'NT EVEN TOUCH.
