This was by far one of the most special meals we had while traveling in France (which is saying a lot!). We found La Guinguette on Google Maps after our visit to Monet's house in Giverny. It is in walking distance from the museums and set apart from the more touristy area of the village. As you can see from the photos, the setting is serene and picturesque. The food was delicious and fresh and the drink selection was delightful. We shared the steak and the seasonal vegetable plate. The prices were very reasonable considering the beautiful setting and quality of the food. They close between lunch and dinner so be sure to go before 2:30 p.m. if you're planning on lunch. read more
