One of the nicest gastronomical experiences I had in Spain. Their Lechazo(suckling lamb) is just…read moreluxurious and it is this place signature dish. It's $50.00 and it feeds two people. It was delicious and more than enough for 2. My two kids were all over it eating that very soft & tender meat. Incomes with fresh salad and onions. The crispy outer skin combined with the soft lamb meat, dipped in its own juice is just a must. It also had the IGP Identification Band(Vitola De Indicación Geográfica Protegida) it is the authenticity ticket in which certificates the Castilla and Leon origen but also the sacrificial date for people to know it is the real deal. In addition, we ordered the $15.00 daily menu per person and that included 2 different courses, dessert, bread and wine, making it a hell of a deal. We were six and ordered almost everything in the menu. My highlights that you can't go wrong with in this place are the cecinas( amazing cow ham), the Villafuertes morcilla, Iberian ham croquettes and the braised veal. The place's door is kind of hidden and easy to miss. Great inside atmosphere, spacious and It is nicely located right behind the big cathedral. Not a tourist trap like the other ones I visited. Amparo's service was as amazing as the Lechazo dish. She was very sweet to my kids and even washed my kids lollipop a few times that felt to the floor. Yes it sounds nasty but went the kid is crying and wants the floor lollipop you have to go to extreme measurements and she was the first to make sure we were comfortable. I highly recommend this place, the Lechazo and Amparo.

We happened on Bar Torres when in town for a day on our honeymoon. We had been following…read moreinstructions and doing as one should do in Logroño by following our noses down Calle Laurel & Calle San Juan. We had a delicious paté with berries, a stuffed pepper, and some amazing crianza (all for about 8 E) when we decided to ask the very happy man next to us what the specialty was at Bar Torres. Since it's a gastropub and all of the tapas are good, the "one thing they do best" here was a little less obvious. That is until we were told to order the "Bocadito de calamares" and we noticed that everyone else was following suit. The calamari slider I declared the best calamari sandwich of my life. Now that we live in Logroño, we joke that it's because of Bar Torres's calamari bocaditos. Anyways, this is a must-try if you're in town. Be sure to call ahead or check the website if you're visiting during the week, as their hours vary (for now, I know they're open during Wed-Sat nights and Fri-Sun during the daytime). -- Sobre todo, me encanta el bocadito de calamares. El servicio es muy bueno también, aunque siempre hay un montón de gente. Lo dejo aquí porque me voy aprendiendo castellano. Gracias, Bar Torres, nos vemos pronto.

This bar is great for wine and pinchos, our favorite in Logrono. The waitress poured us glasses of…read morered she suggested, had great advice about the pinchos, and generally was friendly and patient with our non-existent Spanish. Everyone behind the bar was nice in fact. The food was delicious--we had the two specialties, Kobe medallions and a calamari sandwich, plus a partridge crepe, eggplant roulade, broiled mussels in pepper sauce, and a fois gras in toast with cheese and some kind of apple purée.

Bar Torres - Mightier than it looks: lightly breaded and perfectly fried delicious calamari, steeping a little spicy aioli combo, and a 1.60 E crianza.
