But La Palmira, a small, quiet restaurant on a pedestrians only street that runs parallel to the seafront, provided us with absolutely the best meals. San Terenzo is a borough of Lerici, everything is set in the Gulf of Poets: this is where Percy Bysshe Shelley, Lord Byron and many English New Romantics spent years, enchanted by the beauty of these surroundings. Out we went to enjoy the sun, watch the sea, the seagulls, the sailing boats and people go by.
