Man, even when looking for good eats internationally Yelpers come to the rescue Was on a layover awaiting a flight home from Madrid's Barajas airport and had to overnight in the actual village of Barajas. Meal the me came and I almost stopped at the first bar I saw with food when I thought to Yelp up local favs. LA GENERAL cafe topped the list and with "Todo Razon". I picked the combo special of a salad and main dish and selected the spinach salad ( with incredible mustard dressing) and the Curry chicken with mango others received so well. As a drink the roasted beer off their tap was absolutely perfect. And talk about price / value.....all for 25 euros with a tip. HIGHLY recommend if you find your self in Barajas Spain !!! read more

Great option when in transit close to Madrid Barajas airport. Food was good, service was friendly and price was reasonable. We had a party of 7, and ordered the combos (a couple can easily share a salad and a pizza for dinner). Spinach and boiled egg salad had a great mustard vinaigrette. The three cheese pizza was also good, with a tangy tomato sauce. We also tried the ham and mushroom pizza and the lasagna, both great as well. When in the area, give this place a try. read more

Highly recommended, stumbled about this place when I was in the neighborhood, service was excellent. I had the chicken mango curry bowl and it was Devine, great flavors, tender chicken, the curry was not overpowering, the basmati rice was fluffy and cooked right. What a great little spot almost right across the street from the Ibis Hotel Barajas. I had the mango curry chicken at my server's recommendation and it was AWESOME. And HUGE! And after a few weeks eating jamon Serrano and bread, it was so nice to get something different. Prices are fantastic, and service is friendly. This is a great place for an informal lunch or dinner. Sandwiches, pizza, salads, and a few hot dishes. We had a salmon teriyaki plate, a spinach salad, and a warm apple pie dessert. All were very good. It was right across the street from the hotel where we stayed before our flight from Madrid Barajas Airport. Our waitress was very helpful. read more

We had an amazing meal here! Ordered mac n cheese for kids, brochettas de pollo, parmesean chicken and pastrami and hummous. Everything was delicious. Service was attentive and my 15 month old daughter fell in love with the waitress. If this was downtown Madrid it would really trendy! read more
