When they came to install it 2-3 weeks later (after the door was manufactured), they realized the manufacturer had produced a door that was 2 inches too narrow for our garage. They immediately took responsibility and the owner Nir came out personally to apologize and figure out the best solution. And while he was out he fixed a problem I had with a separate gate for no charge. We agreed on a solution that worked for everyone, and Kind, including Antonio their sales guy, came out several times to make sure it was implemented 100% to my satisfaction. I wasn't the easiest to please but they were determined to do so and it really showed. At the end, they billed me a more than fair discounted amount to compensate for the issues they'd had with the job. I actually paid them more than they billed me, because I thought they'd more than earned it - that says something! Kind showed to me as a company that genuinely cares about their customers and reputation - strongly recommend.

They have sister companies who they work with so you never know who is showing up. We hired socal, win company gave us the invoice and gates express showed up.socal garage and gate (CSLB 1081161) and Gates Express (CSLB 1081161). They are all family. First they installed a gate motor that is over 10 years old without disclosing it's refurbished. He said that we didn't ask, and they sell only refurbished. This is not disclosed anywhere and was not on the invoice. It's not even been 2 months and it's been non stop problems. The gate won't open, it'll open and shut again, it opens extremely slowly. We've had to call every other day or every week. David (Dudi) and Nick are not trustworthy. They say they offer solutions and will fix it but nothing is ever truly fixed. They say that it can take months before the gate will "learn" how to work properly. I don't have months and the average consumer does not want to call every day for a problem. Another solution was just to "ignore it" taking a minute to open. Then they started giving me attitude and accusing me of lying. Dudi offered a free (again refurbished) motor if we installed a 120v outlet outside and today denied he ever said that. Also when they installed the power line running to the garage was buried extremely shallow causing n multiple safety issues for exposure to elements, animals or trip risk. Further the gate can just be pushed open at any time. They said I should've asked for a locking mechanism I would need to pay extra. THEY NEVER SAID I NEEDED ONE! isn't it implied that the gate would not be easily pushed open? They did not present is a lawful CSLB contract. The list goes on and on. Before you hire a company look up it's numbers and research other affiliations. Do not choose this company. At this point I want it gone and a refund. I don't trust them, I don't feel comfortable with them coming to my home. They refused.
