    Sand Castle Wedding Venue

I've been to this venue for several weddings and never had the urge to leave a review until now…read more Let me start by saying, Ive had some great memories here for friends' weddings. Previous times never warranted me to complain about anything. There is no sugar coating it... The entrees were terrible. Even trying each other's dishes at the table proved the food was not good. The menu listed the shrimp scampi (uncleaned /not deveined shrimp), filet mignon (they need a new purveyor), branzino (overcooked beyond reason), and salmon (very overcooked) etc... I couldn't understand how wedding venue food can be so subpar. It wasn't even warm!!! The service was undeniably the worst. Never have I had to say "Im not finished" TWICE and still have the plate taken off the table. Worst part... IT CONTINUES TO HAPPEN ALL NIGHT. How do you take a plate away while I'm in the midst of feeding my child?! To top it off the serving staff poured quarter cups of coffee to end the night. Who does that? What more to say than to let the owners know that things need to change. This was a huge let down. I wish them well and hope to see change if I'm ever invited back to this venue.

Bathrooms are on the second floor, stairs or one elevator available. No drinks allowed on the staircase lol The bar service is excellent, too shelf liquors, shots are no issue. Quick and friendly service. Table service is excellent as was the service during the cocktail hour. My issue comes down to the food. Highlights at the cocktail hour included the shrimp cocktail, roasted suckling pig. Dinner service the burrata with roasted peppers was good. The pasta sauce was great, the pasta itself was cooked too long. The filet mignon was beautiful unfortunately they overcooked it....dont ask me for a temperature if you aren't going to cook it the way I requested. Dessert was above par, nice Viennese hour.

Well, that day finally came, and I'm so glad it did! First off, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The ambiance alone makes it feel like a special night out. Our waitress, Milessa, was amazing, super friendly, attentive, and very professional. She really added to the experience. We tried three different menu items. While two of them were a little too spicy for my personal taste, the sliders were my favorite, full of flavor and perfectly done. And I can't forget dessert, the warm pecan pie with ice cream was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, a great experience with excellent service and a gorgeous setting. I'm happy we finally stopped in and would definitely come back (maybe asking for mild next time ).

I just had a fantabulous time at the Revel Restaurant and Bar. A great big ole THANK YOU goes out…read moreto my Yelpie, Lisa S. had I not seen her review about the Revel Restaurant and Bar, I would have continued to be a window shopper. So, I saw her post on 2/5 and scooped up my plus one and rushed over. Wow! I was mesmerized by the view. The place was busy with beautiful fixtures draping the ceiling while soft jazz like tones filled the space. Sheer luxurious, elegance, extravagant, you name it. I see an upscale establishment with a cosmopolitan vibe. Stepping inside this magnificent place gave an entirely different dining experience for me. As we entered, I asked was there a reservation needed because it just looks like you need reservation. We were greeted and seated. Melissa was our waitress. Poised and attentive was she. She was fantastic, she introduced herself by name. Our food. Sriracha Chicken Spring Roll- $22- pulled chicken, Bayley Hazen blue cheese, Vermont cheddar, Buffalo sriracha, wonton rapper. Kobe Beef Sliders- $25- American Wagyu, whiskey smoked caramelized onions, fontina cheese, bacon jam. Gochujang wings- $19 Korean spices, toasted sesame seeds, scallions The wings and spring rolls were spicey to my desire, very tasty, and the wings were huge and filling. Took some home. The sliders were a bit dry and too much bun, but they have other items, I would gladly return .... Inspire more, Yelp more!

I wish I could give Stewart Manor Country Club more than 5 stars. We had our wedding here recently,…read moreand the entire experience was beyond anything we expected. I had been to the venue twice before--my sister got married here and a friend had a bridal shower--so I already knew it was beautiful. But hosting our wedding here was something truly special. From the very first meeting, the staff made us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely confident that our day would be in good hands. The venue itself is gorgeous with a warm, slightly rustic, homey charm, but the real standout is the staff. They are some of the kindest, most accommodating people you will ever meet. We didn't even bother touring other venues because we just knew this was the place--and we were 100% right. We worked mostly with James and John, who ran our wedding, and they were both phenomenal. James in particular deserves all the praise in the world. He handles so many details behind the scenes and somehow always seems to be in the exact place you need him. He listened closely to what we wanted and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. He was even completely prepared for emergencies, pulling out Advil at one point and a tide pen at another... and right before our ceremony, my husband accidentally got water on his vest. James took it, dried it, and brought it back looking perfect just in time. It was such a small moment, but it speaks volumes about how dedicated he is. By the end of the night, it honestly felt like James and John were family. We're already joking about finding excuses to go back just to say hello. If you're considering this venue--stop considering and just BOOK IT! Stewart Manor Country Club is outstanding in every way: the staff, the service, the atmosphere, the care, the experience. We couldn't recommend them more.

His attention to detail is amazing. When a button fell off my jacket, he found it amidst a sea of people. More than that, he sewed it back on. He fixed my wife's bustle. He knows so many tips and tricks for cleaning clothes quickly, totally, and discretely (as if there was never anything to fix). He shows every bride and groom so much love and attentiveness, and his only response is "that's the way it's supposed to be." What's even more astounding, is that the Stewart Manor CC even helps with wedding planning. They provided us names of equally hypercompetent vendors who provided us gorgeous flowers, a tasty wedding cake, and a DJ who had everyone on the dancefloor til the last song. If you have an upcoming wedding, baby shower, Sweet 16, or just want to book a venue, the Stewart Manor Country Club should be your first and last stop.
