Once you walk down the steps you come to a lovely restaurant with a courtyard that feels like you're in different village with fabulous views. Food: They have a three course menu to choose from which they change twice a season. We both chose the foie gras for our starter which was authentic and delicious. We both chose the pork loin which was prepared deliciously. For desserts we chose the fromage blanc and the chocolate trio. The fromage blanc was definitely better. The chocolate trio was very good, but rich. Drinks: We ordered one bottle of rosé. Price: 97 euros for two people. Ambiance: The evening was perfect. The outdoor seating underneath a tree with soft lighting was charming. It's simple and just what you think of when dining in Provence. Service: The service was friendly, warm and efficient. Everyone in the restaurant was super kind and helpful. Note: They don't take credit cards so make sure you have cash. Holy sh*tsnacks - can the stars go to 6?…read more I honestly never imagined that coming to France, the best restaurant I would find would: a) not be in Paris b) be exceptionally inexpensive Note that 'b' is relative - living in NYC and traveling to London a lot gives me perhaps a skewed perspective but still - we paid 160 Euro and got: a) champagne to start b) a pernaud aperitif to start for me c) 3 courses for the Mrs - celeriac confit, a pata negra pork dish and a fig dessert b) 4 courses for me - calamari with proscuitto starter, both remaining main dishes (a fish dish with cauliflower that might have been the best thing I've eaten ever, a rib-eye steak dish and the cheese platter) c) an incredible bottle of wine IMHO for 160 Euro you really can't beat that. The fish was perfectly done, soft and silky. The terrace is beautiful, you get great sunset views.
