Great food and great service. Definitely recommend every one to give it a try. We have had it several times and was always good.

Good solid Mexican food for the price with decent deals available as well. Full bar with variety of options for beers and mixed drinks. The service was 5 stars for sure and the atmosphere was what you would typically expect from a busy Mexican restaurant. Will go back again some time to try something different from the menu. read more

The tamales at La Curva are downright seductive. Perfectly moist, soft in all the right ways, and drenched in sauce that clings exactly where it should. Every bite is rich, slow, and satisfying. Definitely not something you rush through. The flavors linger, the texture melts, and by the end you're fully indulged and more than a little impressed. These tamales know how to get your attention and keep it. read more

The flour chip nachos were the bomb! If you're in the area come get your grub on! We also tried the taco burger, so good!

We're not from Salina but stopped by here with a large party. The food was phenomenal and the services was great! I got the churi pollo- chorizo, onions, grilled chicken and rice and beans served with tortillas. Great white cheese dip as well. They're margaritas a massive and delicious.. we got frozen peach and strawberry on the rocks. The large is REALLY large! read more

Decently good burrito. I like that it came with lettuce and tomato. They have a chunky salsa. read more

Do you want deliciously crisp chips? Extremely fresh salsa? Phenomenally authentic queso with hints of green chili? This is the place. Portion sizes for dinner were significant, server was friendly and our food was delivered promptly. Give this unassuming place a try. Best Mexican food I've located domestically. read more

All I can say is WOW. This place left me feeling some type of way... food was absolutely delicious and left me tingling. Queso was top notch and almost made me act up. All in all 5/5 stars!!!! read more

Food is yummy IF you eat there and not take it to go. There is something off about taking it out. The portions are awesome. The food is just so flavorful! The location itself is SO LOUD. Barely can hear the person in front of you. But it is absolutely a delight eating there! read more

Fast, fresh food with friendly service. I wouldn't claim this is the best Mexican food in town, but it's consistent. I like their Chiliquilas Mexicanos, Enchiladas Rancheros, and several other things. Their extra spicy salsa is very good. read more

Passing through Kansas and decided to try this restaurant. No regrets what so ever. Food was to die for. Waiter was prompt and polite. Food came out hot and fresh. Wish I could come here again . read more

We came here for dinner on a Tuesday. The tables in the restaurant were spaced out each other and they were all filled by customers! We ordered a small queso for appetizer and 2-people portion of shrimp Molcajete. Queso was a real deal. Very silky, smooth white cheese. Mocajete was a giant meal! We could have ordered only for one and shared! Tons of cheese, good tomato-based sauce and they didn't skimp on shrimp! So many shrimps!!! Also, they gave individual salsa bowls. Very considerate gesture with pandemic (not every restaurant does that). read more

The food here was great I went here for Kansas Darnley days and i would go back again. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the tables were to close and it was loud enough to where you couldn't hear anything people were talking about but other than that it was pretty good read more

First time here. Had great service and great food. Arroz con Pollo was very delicious. Staff was very good. Refilled our drinks, got extra napkins, without having to ask. Tea was pretty good. (I am a tea snob). Cheese dip was tasty and their chips were so good I love chips that are thin, not salty nor greasy. The only bad thing is the noise. The conversation level has to be super high, and then they have loud music playing to top it off. Not a good place for a romantic meal, family meal, business lunch or anything that would encourage conversation. Sad, because otherwise it's a really good restaurant. I just do t enjoy screaming to the waitress or the other people at our table! Lol. read more

Recently got a chance to try this restaurant after wanting to for quite some time. They did a very nice remodel of the former Pizza Hut building. It is adequately lit, clean, and inviting. Standard chips and salsa to start. Salsa was pretty good, could have used just a touch of heat but not bad. I had the fajitas Mexicanas. There were pretty good, not great. I do sort of take issue with being charged an extra $1 for 3 additional tortilla, for two reasons. #1 because the tortillas themselves are very small no way to eat the whole plate of meat with 3 of them #2 no other Mexican restaurant I've ever been to charges extra for more fajitas tortillas. So that is one star off. The service was really slow which is a big part peeve of mine. I was seated by the hostess and didnt see a waitress for nearly 10 min. She came back a total of 2 times during my meal there. All told I probably spent 25 minutes just waiting for service, and it wasn't really even that busy. 1 star off for that. I will say this, with more help and a few other things this really could be a great place. For now though I'm giving it an average rating of 3. Not good, not bad, just average. read more

I struggle w places like this. The place is a revamped Pizza Hut and it is hart to remove the stamp. They did renovate and it was done ok. The entry was full of people so we ate at the bar. Our server Juan was personable and did well. The couple next to us got skipped by the kitchen and after waiting over 30 min and we got served before them but ordered well after, they weren't comped. We ordered a sampler and it was bland Mexican food but authentic. It was executed fairly well and prompt for a first week in business swamped restaurant. It was ok priced but not a steal. Decent place to try. read more

Great Mexican food in Salina, KS. Taco Salads, fajitas, queso and chips, etc. are all great. Service is fast and very nice servers and management. read more

Went with a group of 8 which they couldn't accommodate so we had to get separate tables. However since a lot of people were in there this had me hoping the food would be outstanding. It was average. Chips and salsa are really good though. I will add we all thought it was the loudest and noisiest restaurant we've ever been to. The bar and dining area are all in one big box of a room. read more

The food is pretty good most days. The restaurant is super loud and so mistakes in orders (at least our last two visits) have been made. I specify and interest in something with alterations and it didn't harm despite me saying it twice. Other than the abundance of noise, the food is pretty decent. I do want to say they have great food for their prices but sometimes it seems like their fillers are more than they should be (lettuce for example) but skimpy on the good stuff (steak or beef). Otherwise, this is great if you want a very down to earth feel! read more

Great food, fast service, decent prices. The inside can become a little cramped when really busy but overall great place to eat.

The food was good. Chips with meh salsa. Grilled Shrimp Salad was VERY very basic, lettuce, tomato, green pepper, onion, cheese and grilled shrimp. Service was efficient. Prices are fair. They have done a nice remodel of a Pizza Hut. The place is small and friendly. Very busy place at dinner on Saturday night! read more

La Curva - Grilled Shrimp Salad - Mexican Near Me - Salina, Kansas

We were visiting family and friends in Salina KS and decided to have diner here; the experience was terrible; I understand that many people panicked about COVID, but at this restaurant, they when to the extreme making the place looking worse than a prison camp. They have all the tables covered in VERY CHEAP plastic from ceiling to floor, so is the counter and the employees were all confined to this small place with only a small cut out square where you give your CC to pay. I really can't imagine the suffocation trying to eat a good grilled steak surrounded by plastic; the steam got to be unlivable; of course, I wasn't going to be that stupid to stay and find out. We immediately turned around and went to eat to a normal restaurant read more

I ordered online and went in to get it. The lady behind the counter put my flour chips in the bag with her bare hanfs.... Then when I asked about my drink she said I didn't order any and clearly on my receipt it was on there.Did not receive all my food. Either. You would think for $42 I would have gotten everything I ordered. read more

Best in town. There is always a wait. Trust me, it's worth it and goes pretty fast. It does take a bit to get your food because they make it fresh. Trust me, it's worth the wait. Order the cheese enchiladas but request cheese sauce. Rich and creamy goodness. The salsa is terrific. Honestly I can't say enough good stuff about this place. I have tried the tacos, enchiladas, chimichanga, guacamole...seriously everything is good. And they prices are very reasonable. read more

This restaurants floor is really slippery. As for the food my chimichanga was decently good but honestly I think my water was better. As for the service the waitress was really serious, so serious I found it rude read more

This place is normally great. Their food is fantastic! However, they lost a regular customer tonight. We placed an order for delivery that not only took an hour and a half to receive, part of the order was prepared incorrectly, and we were missing an item. When I called to get it corrected, the girl who answered the phone was extremely rude. She argued with me about what I ordered, telling me I was wrong. She offered no resolution and acted as though my complaint was insignificant. When I asked for the manager, she wasn't much better. They wanted to give me a credit for a single item. Meanwhile, they were laughing in the background. I hope the owner sees this so he or she knows what kind of people work there. Where is Undercover Boss when you need them? Some people there need some serious customer service lessons, or they need to be fired. read more

LC seems to have created a wide spectrum of opinions from customers. This being my first experience with them, I'd say that they did rather well. The motley staff was very agreeable and able to service our large party with ease. Food & beverage menus had the usual selections with a few different surprises. Prices were reasonable, but portions seemed a tad smaller than expected. The clientele was somewhat diverse. Nothing to lose; much to enjoy. read more

This place has totally redeemed itself from the slight downfall 6 months after open. I go there every Thursday with friends and food as well as service is great. The difference for me is the total freshness of the condiments applied to the food served. I go on Thursday cuz of the $1.99 margaritas offered that day. A good cheap margarita totally adds to the experience. Now definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Salina read more

Good food and good service. It's been a long time since Salina has had a good Mexican food restaurant but La Curva is nailing it. They keep the food simple so it's quick and easy to get out but it doesn't lack on taste. read more

We thought that we would give the newest Mexican restaurant in Salina a try and we were pretty disappointed as the food was quite bland and the service wasn't any better. I had the four cheese enchiladas and the enchilada sauce tasted like it came out of a can. My friend had the fajita chimichanga and the meat was tough and flavorless. The only thing that had any spice was the salsa which was decent. Our server wasn't very attentive, and didn't come back around until he brought the check. Needless to say, we won't be going back nor will we recommend this place. read more
