Like all of the previous reviews mentioned, this place is incredible. From the ambience to service to the food, everything was perfect. 1. Grandmother's special menu item - this was an entire shank of lamb that was stewed in a flavorful sauce. It was juicy and tender and had all the feelings of a homecooked Greek meal. This dish is served with a baked potato, tsatziki sauce, and some fig-like fruits. I would get this dish every time I come here. 2. Chicken kebab platter - this came with 2 big skewers of chicken that were grilled to perfection. The chicken was not dry and had really good flavor. Like the previous item, this dish was served with the same sides. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from on this street, but we are glad we chose this one!

If you live in 5th zone of Paris when visiting, this Greek restaurant is one of the most excellent choice which achieves great combination of price and quality, especially it's set menu providing appetizer, main dishes and desert at the cost of less than 20 €. As service, friendly waiters can speak English so there is no problem for foreigners to eat. I will choose this restaurant again next time I visit Paris.

Baklava. Out of this world.

Hidden gem. HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!! This place is the BEST GREEK FOOD IN ALL OF PARIS!!!!!! MUST GO!!! Staff is warm, friendly and inviting. Located in the 5th arrondissement in the Latin Quarter. Amazed.

My wife and I decided to take a 25 minute trip via the metro to try this restaurant out based on other Yelp reviews. We are so happy we did because it was well worth the trip. The €16 "menu fixe" was absolutely delicious and a steal in comparison to other places in Paris. For appetizers we ordered the assorted plate and Greek salad, for the main dish we ordered the chicken and pork kebabs, and for dessert we got the baklava and chocolate mousse. The food was amazing, authentic, and the service was excellent. This restaurant has very homey feel to it and the waiters want to take good care of you. Best place we've eaten in Paris so far.

Lamb shank

We come to the restaurant after we found it packed the night before. The hospitality is awesome! Ordered grilled whole fish, grilled lamb chops and lamb shank. Everything tasted delicious! More options on the menu caught our eyes but the waiter warned us that's more than enough. He was right! Reasonable price and good food!

Wonderful ambiance and the staff is very kind.

Wonderful restaurant and they treat their guests wonderfully here. I had the lamb chops. They were tender juicy and good. I would definitely come back when I visit Paris again.

Really good authentic Greek food. Good portions. The lamb with figs and the grilled fish were both delicious. Good value.

The atmosphere in this restaurant was lively, the food pretty good but the waiter was very rude - possibly drunk and misogynistic.

Looking at the photos of Istanbul, it has to be the same place, with the fabulous deli case. We had the hummus, tarama (pink caviar dip) and tzatziki with plentiful pita bread. All three were outstanding! We also had the chicken kebob and lamb kebob. Which were fine, but it was the dips that blew me away. I wish I'd had time to try other items in that deli case--it would be perfect to carry back to an Airbnb with a fridge. To top it off the waitress, manager, owner was so friendly and working non-stop. I found it by walking past it on the street while exploring the shops and restaurants on Rue St. Jacques. I looked up, saw the bright new sign and looked through the window. When I saw the deli case, I was sold.

What a visually wonderful place. I ordered the mixed meat plate and my girlfriend ordered the two meet plate with chicken and lamb. Both plates where very tasty and a great option for lunch. It wasn't too heavy and gave us energy for a full day of walking. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting the area. Sit down, order some wine, eat some food and enjoy the scenery!

When they asked if we wanted wine, we ordered one small glass and one small carafe. Neither of which came. A second server appeared and asked if we'd like to order, to which we responded. We had already ordered the wine. He laughed. He did bring us the wine. One glass each. I returned my glass for a small carafe. We still have no silverware, no salt and pepper, no water. When approached for our dinner order, we said we were splitting a Greek salad, and three appetizers. We were dissatisfied with the fact that the appetizer platter they offer of six appetizers, is of their choice. Not our choice of appetizers. Therefore, we ordered three of our own to share: tzatziki, fried zucchini, meatballs. Unfortunately, at our small table for two, they brought four dishes at the same time. There was not room enough for all four plates. They did not bring us our own small plate to put our individual portions on. We were forced to eat out of the serving dishes, Which came with no serving spoons. Moreover two times, not once, but two times, they brought us grape leaves. And we reiterated that we had ordered meatballs. I have no idea what the issue was with that. Until the waiter said the menu has a misprint. I was speaking English, meatballs do not sound like grape leaves. In any case, the fried zucchini was unpalatable. Was not thin strips, not delicately fried. They were balls of raw dough with zucchini thrown in. I could not eat them. The tzatziki was very good. The meatballs never came. After we were done with the salad, zucchini and tzatziki, they brought us four small meat patties (on the house). To be honest, they were hot and flavorful. Moreover, the feta cheese in the Greek salad was completely flavorless. Embarrassing. But I was no longer hungry. I must say the craziest thing of the evening was they had no pita bread. They ran out. What kind of Greek restaurant runs out of pita bread? They offered us baguette (it is France). However, it is not what we wanted. And they neglected to say when we ordered our appetizers that they had no pita bread. Eventually forks came, no small plates for our individual eating. They did bring us two small pieces of orange cake again on the house. Very sweet, slightly flavorful. Not interested. My friend and I were completely dissatisfied with the service, the quality of the food, the competency of the staff. We practically had to beg for forks, water, the correct item we ordered from the menu. The ambience is cute. We enjoyed each other's company. But this place was an utter and complete waste of time. We live very near Astoria in Queens, New York. And these people should be embarrassed to say that this is a Greek restaurant.

We tried the rotisserie chicken pita and the ratatouille one. Both were packed full of fresh ingredients. I loved the veggie one. But shoutout to the pita because it didn't collapse or get soggy from all the veggies and sauce. It held its own and was delish. Inside has some tables in back that were good but really this is a quick lunch space and a great one at that. Delish.

The cauliflower and sweet potato are visually stunning and well-roasted, but ultimately the condiments the restaurant offers don't compensate for the neutral preparation. Even tomato sauce, hot sauce and salt together couldn't coat the cauliflower in a satisfying way. When the vegetable is cooked with the idea of its being a blank canvas, it can't be retroactively perfected. Table salt should be a garnish, not the savior of a meal. The sweet potato fares better since I could mainline that vegetable, but if a roast sweet potato is that good without any seasoning, there's no reason to pay a restaurant premium for one. I am not trying to denigrate the concept of Miznon, because to do so would be to miss the point, but I would argue that I only ever need to experience Miznon once for novelty and then can move on to genuine meals at restaurants that justify the cost of dining out.
