The food here looked really interesting, so I wanted to try it out for lunch. I had the croquetas, the tierra mar y aire dish, cod gratin, and a glass of wine.
The free tapa accompanying the wine was presented well, but it was just a small tortilla wrap with ground meat inside, so it was decent. I really enjoyed the wine, though.
The croquetas were a nice little snack. I preferred the truffle flavored one over the ham one because it has a stronger flavor.
The tierra mar y aire tapa was really cool because they serve it in a tajin jar with dry ice, and then they pour tea inside to create a bunch of vapor inside. Maybe a little gimmicky, I still thought it was really good because the pork and cream get a slight sweetness from the tea, and I actually really liked drinking the tea, too.
The cod gratin was definitely my favorite, though. I didn't know what to order, so I asked the waiter and he suggested the cod. It was cooked well and moist, the cream sauce was delicious, and it went well with the sweet raspberry crisp.
I'm glad I tried the food here, and I'd like to try more of their tapas and pintxos.

Second visit: This time I tried the vampitoston and dehesa pintxos.
I definitely suggest the vampitoston. The newspaper wrapped pinxto was shatteringly crispy, and the goat cheese and apple were delicious.
I liked the dehesa. It was potato topped with pork and a skewer of jamon iberico. The presentation was great, but the flavors were just ordinary.
After 2 visits, my favorite dishes have been the vampitoston, cod gratin, and tierra mar y aire. read more
