It's a beautiful, peaceful place to walk around and relax. They have a nice museum and beautiful views. I love nature.

Super expensive and disappointing. We paid $74 for two adults tickets at $2/each and $35/for 1 hours worth of bouncing + 10 game tickets. Games were disorganized, the people working appeared to be "over it" and unenthusiastic. It looked like a glorified bounce house party with 7 bounce houses. There was broken glass on the ground near the bounce houses, super dangerous especially if little kids are asked to take their shoes off want to go from house to house. I would definitely not recommend or go back. Your better off going to the grocery store to buy a pumpkin too! They were selling them for $17-$22 each!!! At Vons they have them for $5! read more

Luckily, when we got to this location over this past weekend, there were a couple of people in line to purchase their tickets to get in ($2 ea) because my husband & I had time to think about whether we wanted to stay or not (with our 3yo twins). This was really more of a bounce house park and not that many pumpkins, sadly. Upon scoping the place out, I thought it was a bit bigger, but it's not, and all I could see were bounce houses and a couple of carnival type games, and obviously a fee for all of the above. This place is very small. You could probably walk the diameter in about 1-2mins. Overall, I was expecting more of a pumpkin patch feel. This was our first time here, so maybe it was different in prior years. This felt more like a fair atmosphere. Not sure if this is the exact same business but the pumpkin patch I went to was right near the same motel, behind the bus stop. In the corner of Briggs n Foothill. The phone numbers leads to the motel so don't bother calling it. There was age limit of two years since it's all slides only in there. I had a 21-month-old so we didn't have to pay to take pictures and touch the pumpkins. But from what I observed, all kids were paying a flat rate of $25 each. The adults didn't have to pay, which is nice. But the rate seemed pretty steep for how tiny the place was. Hope this helps anyone who wanted more info on this spot! read more

This is a terrible pumpkin patch. They only take cash, they charge for general admission ($1 per person), but it's such a small selection of pumpkins it's not worth it. They have 4 bounce house things, but you have to pay 15 dollars per child to use any of them. They also have a very small petting zoo for $7.00 per person. I wouldn't recommend stopping here for a pumpkin. We purchased a large pumpkin for $15 only because we have small children and didn't want our trip to be a complete bust. If you want pumpkin patch experience this is not the place to go. Make the drive to some of the other place outside of LA if you want a real pumpkin patch experience. read more

This place is a huge, pathetic scam! We were around the corner and decided to walk here with our 2-year-old. It looks a little cheesy from the outside, with 2 inflatable slides, a spider-man bounce house, and a small collection of your average grocery store- style pumpkins. But we thought, what the heck, it's easy to please a toddler and we live so close. When we first walked in we noticed a sign that said general admission. We thought that was a little odd considering this place is just a tiny portion of a parking lot. I assumed the fees were for the slides and the bounce house. No - those cost $7 each. A woman immediately called us over and asked how old our daughter was. Then she said the bounce house is $7 for "unlimited bounces" and we said "oh ok we are just here to look around" and she said "ok $3." That seemed a little silly just to walk around and look at 2 small piles of pumpkins, but we didn't want to deal with a crying, disappointed toddler so we paid it and moved on. We walked around for maybe 10 minutes and the carnies who run the place kept "patrolling" us and basically followed us around to make sure we weren't using their cheesy inflatable slides without paying. The whole thing felt ridiculous and manipulative of the holiday. It felt like a creepy carnival ripoff. Save your money and go to a REAL pumpkin patch (Underwood Family Farms is great) or even a better parking-lot pumpkin patch if you don't have time to drive 40 minutes to Underwood. It's an okay place. Your kids will have fun, your wallet won't. You're paying for the convenience of it being local. It's a little entertainment spot set up in a parking lot. It's set up nice, pumpkins everywhere, 4 bouncy house/slide things, and a little petting zoo. General admission is $1 (ages 3 and up), $20 per kid to access the bounce house things, and the little petting zoo is $7.00. But the zoo is in a "fun area" which costs $1.00 to enter. I brought my daughter here and met up with some friends and their kids. The kids had fun and there were places for the adults to sit and chat. The staff were nice enough, but the place had an air of barely keeping it together. When walking in the person handling general admission was yelling at the kids across the way on one of the bounce houses, there was a guy walking around monitoring kids via blowing his whistle and yelling, and one of the bounce houses came unplugged and started to deflate on the kids. Though this was quickly handled. Honestly, I'm not sure how I would monitor a bunch of rambunctious kids on bounce houses any better. But I've been to other places with bounce houses where they seemed to run everything a lot more smoothly. They probably just needed more staff, and monitoring of each inflatable spot. But they didn't charge my daughter for general admission and gave her a little pumpkin in the end for being sweet. That was very nice of them. read more

Pumpkin patch is awful. It is expensive. The games are worn and there was only two types. Prizes are even worse. All the balls were faded. My daughter wanted the only stuff animal they had which I managed to win. Even when we got it it was torn and ripped in multiple places. Exchanged it three times and ended up with a torn stuff animal anyways. So sad. Don't waste your time or money read more

I was driving by with my Granddaughter today. My Granddaughter saw the ponies, and asked if we could go and see them someday. I immediately turned into the lot, and told her we're going right now. They had two ponies to ride, an animal petting area, and five jump houses. They all cost money to do, but the real value was $15.00 for unlimited jump house use. We spent three hours there. We also shopped and picked out a beautiful pumpkin, at a reasonable price. It was so much fun, that we're going back tomorrow too! read more

I was roaming around La Crescenta thinking of ways to kill time to beat traffic back home, then I found this cute little place to go and visit. I had never seen pumpkins with such long stems! I was so shocked about it I immediately bought one. I am so excited to carve it. Also the animals were so cute and I was able to go by them and feed them. Overall it was such a nice experience! I will definitely be going back. I also recommend this place for kids, I saw a ton of kids playing around in the moon jumps and just laughing like there is no tomorrow! read more

I am sad about the bad reviews here because I had a chance to talk to the owners who run it, and they are the nicest people. They work really hard to run the pumpkin patch, and have normal jobs the rest of the year. There are people complaining about pricing, but its an expensive operation to have open. There were a ton of bounce houses so that my 2 kids weren't bored. The owners also told us that we could come back all day (and night) and the amount we paid for the use of the bounce houses covered that. Overall I had a great time and I know my kids did too. read more

This is the best pumpkin patch ever! They have tons of things for the kids to do. All fun stuff. Great prices for pumpkins, games and fun. My kids never want to leave this place, every time we go! A great way to have them release some energy, good and safe fun. They make friends every time they go. But what puts this place over the top is the people who run it, Babette and David. David and their worker (Chris?) are very helpful and kind. Babette is one of a kind. A gentle and caring spirit, she makes the place have a very family friendly feel. She is so sweet! If there is an older woman working the cashier, do not engage her or enter the pumpkin patch. Go somewhere else. While we were there, she berated my elderly father and heard her yell at another family as well. She does not foster a good environment for children. Our son was asking why the lady was so mean to everyone. The rest of the staff is very friendly and helpful. The activities are good for kids for sure, albeit pricey. I think kids would have a good time as long as that lady isn't there. But we won't be returning. read more

What a scheme to make a $ off the holiday season. $20 dollars for a child to bounce on a bounce house plus which doesn't even include access to the "fun zone" which is actually just a section of props and pumpkins. My child and I were viewing the animals from the gate where the petting zoo was and I was asked to move away - the implication being that if we didn't pay for the petting zoo we shouldn't be looking either. Pumpkins were old and funky too. Places like this make me sad because it really takes advantage of the consumer and the holiday at hand. My fiance and I stumbled upon La Crescenta Pumpkin Patch while in the area and decided to drop by because they are DOG-FRIENDLY. There are not many pumpkin patches in the area that allow dogs so this was refreshing :) The workers were extremely nice and welcoming! We each paid $1 (cash only) to enter, which is relatively inexpensive compared to some pricier ones. The patch is not big but they make good use of the space. There are bounce houses for the kids, pumpkins scattered throughout, a petting zoo, and other decor for cute photo opportunities. The owner even gifted my pup a mini pumpkin! All in all, we (including my pup) had a great time! Two days left until Halloween so drop by and grab some pumpkins and take some photos! read more

This place isnt the place to go anymore. I feel like at one time it might have been... but not anymore. For starters this is the second year in a row I had to return pumpkins because they wilted and died before we could even carve them. Last year I chalked it up to it being hot, but this year October has been for the most part cold, or at least cold-er than last year - but FOR SURE cold enough for pumpkins to make it to carving day. When I brought them back the owner first offered to replace four out of seven soggy pumpkins (we bought ten total, and 7 died super fast)... when I pressed the issue and asked for them to all be replaced as they all* died only four days after having them she obliged, so I should give her some credit there. My biggest issue with this place is two things really... First is the staff. They must be family of the owners because they are terrible. There is a woman who is in control of the bouncy houses who screams, I mean SCREAMS at the children in demanding belittling ways. When I asked her for her name she asked what I needed it for...that was weird...I had to get it from the lady at the register: Amber has anger issues. When I suggested that she should have the children go into the bouncys one by one rather than scream at them for all going at the same time, which was ultimately her choice to do so in the first place, she shrugged it off and continued to yell... We ended up rotating bouncys to use the ones she was not watching. When she switched to the bouncy we were in we moved to another one. Staff issue #2... The person watching the animals is not in any way qualified to be handling animals... He was actually VERY sweet and nice. He was also good with the kids... But he knew absolutely zero about these animals...he was very rough with the chickens and pigs. Like he literally tossed a chicken into the other side of the bin... I wanted to stuff as many animals in my bag as I could and get them the hell out of there. I am hoping that they are somewhere safe now. And finally, the gal with the black hair that runs the register... where do I even begin? She is very nice when you are not doing anything to upset her.... but lawdy do not upset this woman. I watched the mother of a child who was on a school field trip ask her if her establishment was insured and protected in case an accident were to happen while they were on their field trip. O. M. G... She flipped the F out on this woman. How dare this woman ask her such questions? How dare this woman want to know if a business that was currently in operation have insurance which I believe is like a required thing, is it not? The mother looked like she wanted to cry as she backtracked as much as she possibly could to get herself away from this woman. Poor Mother, if you are reading this, I tired asking for you and the answer is most likely NO... she is not sufficiently insured...and if she is she is absolutely refusing to prove that she is. This could be ego, but it could also be that she doesnt have coverage. The second major issue was with the pricing... The sign on the street said "$15 for unlimited slides", but another sign said "$10 entry to ride slides"... THEN she told us that it was $15 per hour, but I heard her tell a dad as I was leaving that it was "$15 unlimited" again or $10 for an hour... Pricing was all over the place which is a personal pet peeve of mine in businesses. Anyhow... I prefer the Smiths up the street...or hell, make it a day trip and get out to Underwood or the one from the freeway toward Calabassas. This place is far too over priced, far too staffed with people who are about to snap, and I am going to lose sleep over those poor animals... read more

This is our local Pumpkin Patch and we have been coming here for the past 3 years ever since we moved into the neighborhood. It has become a tradition and my son gets very excited as soon as he sees they are working on putting it up. Since we pass by this pumpkin patch every day he asks if it is ready yet for us to visit. It is such a lovely and well arranged patch ! Extremely photogenic for family photos and they have added new attractions over the years. We came here yesterday and my son did not want to leave at all. He made friends with the neighborhood kids and they ran around for hours playing in the various bounce structures. I love that there are 2 bounce houses (Princess and Spider Man themes) but also a giant dump truck slide, a fantastic obstacle course bounce structure and another slide one. There is also a petting zoo and pony rides which we didn't even get to. The pumpkin arrangements are very beautiful and there are so many adorable places to take photos like tractors, wheel barrels, train, plus horse, etc. Besides the fact that this place is very convenient, it is also such a great family business ! They are open late and it's well lit once the sun goes down so the atmosphere is very cozy. For us, this place is a family tradition and I highly recommend it to others ! Funny how the other yelp reviewer also had a similar experience to our's today. Don't confuse this pumpkin patch with the way nicer one also on Foothill near Office Depot. We came today looking for a pumpkin patch and we thought it was Smith's. Our 2 year daughter ran inside due to excitement and the cashier lady yells to me "where do you think you're going?". My wife was trying to chase after our daughter carrying our infant, however I haven't even entered the patch yet. I noticed the $1 admission charge, which isn't much when we already parked and got out of the car with 2 kids. However, this rude reaction by the cashier lady already ruined this experience for us, so we took our daughters and left. We took our daughter to this family run pumpkin patch and we had a blast! The staff were all very helpful and there were lots of things to entertain the kids. They had small pumpkins for $3/$5. The petting zoo was $7 and we got to spend 20 minutes with the pigs/chickens/ goats and a goose. We got some great photos of the family. We came at a good time because there weren't many people at 4pm, we felt like we had the whole petting zoo to ourselves. We stayed for 30-45 minutes and left with several pumpkins. I had the pleasure of taking my 3 great grandchildren (all under the age of six) to this wonderful Pumpkin Patch. The kiddos where wide eyed the whole time with all the fun colorful sights. The lady at the gate was kind as were the men working to see that everyone was safe and happy. The kids especially loved the petting zoo with all kinds of small animals to enjoy. There was a nice man (in the zoo) the whole time making sure they had a good time and the animals were on their best behavior. We are coming back on the weekend for the pony rides.
