La Cordee is a wonderful outdoor store which (although smaller than it's competitor Sail) I believe has a better selection of quality outdoor clothes, shoes and backpacks. For me it's my fave outdoor adventure magasin in Laval! When you enter the store you notice the nice babbling waterfall/brook that gives a relaxing "faux nature" feel. I dig a place that offers quality products at reasonable prices. It's a serious outdoor contender with MEC and it's cousin REC or Eastern Mountain Sports (in the US). Usually 3 - 4 times a ear they have decent sales and it's worth it to come at this time. Do not expect he high end gear to be discounted much. Probably one of the only shops I know in Montreal that sells surfboards and wetsuits if you choose to surf the current in front of Habitant 67 or Parc des rapides in Lasalle. read more

Worst place ever. i go there to buy two new tire seller doesn't even know which one to give me. And then trys to sell me the same tire that i bought from else were for 40$ wants to sell me for 80$ he tells thats all he as.And when i was leaving at the exit they accused me of stealling the used tire that i bringed in to repair but then when they checked behide i was right. all the dumb people works there i wouldn't recommend to anyone to this place instead of helping. They try to sell you new bike or find excuses for it. Take your business else were la cordee on st martin its crap. I can't even give 0 star. thats how bad there service are. read more

There is always some good seasonal sale's @ Sail as they have a large assortment of outdoor clothing, fleece, jackets and other goods! Their selection of winter clothing is pretty decent. Brand names are in the mid range on average. They do have some Arcteryx, Canada Goose, North Face and Columbia items to name a few on the higher end. A decent selection of outdoor footwear as well. If getting lost in the woods, or skiing hiking or fishing is your game then you need to get to Sail!
