The quality of care is at the very bottom across all services. Referrals are not sent, prescriptions are not ordered, labs aren't followed up on. The receptionists will inappropriately speak aloud about personal and private information. I have had my identity compromised and health data stolen mutiple times from lack of computer security. They prescribed medicine that caused serious health problems, such as stroke level high Blood pressure, palpitations, and tachycardia. I was sent for 10s of thousands of dollars of unneeded cardio workups. Physician assistants can and will put you on medicine without any diagnosis or guidance from a Medical Doctor. My health has been permanently destroyed. I went from being a Network Administrator for the State to homeless due to being overpresctibed medication and the complications that arose. To drive a nail in my coffin, the Physician Assitant, Mareb Habtetsion, that prescribed me the meds and caused me to be complacent in disability, left after 7 years of destroying me. I have been recommended by La Clinica to apply for disability and now PA Habtestsion isn't there to functionally write it up. So I will have to get re Referrals and book dozens of appointments to get the medical proof that I should already have. It is disgusting all the fraud, waste, and, abuse that I have witnessed being a patient on Medi Cal. Lastly, beware and read all their notes on MyChart; get the app for sure! The doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants can and will lie to cover their butts. Sign up on Quest for your labs so you can see the results since I had abnormal labs and no one cared to let me know. Sadly, if you wind up poor it's near impossible to get any quality care any more. You could end up like me; homeless, terrified, sick, and unable to live any functional life. Be very active in your care, question all of them on side effects and get informed consent on the dangers. I wasn't told about the long term consequences of over prescribing medicine such as long term panic, needle like pain in my face, burning hands, lips, and toes, involuntary movement of legs and arms, cardio and gastrointestinal problems to name a few. I now live a very hard and scary life fraught with physical assaults, theft, and personal injury unable to navigate the complexity of malpractice and social security. All because I trusted my once good health to La Clinica. It's too late for me now. Beware! You may be sick and need help, but you may have your life taken from you with no regard. read more

This Review is basically for Dr Buchanan for being so unprofessional and for not knowing how to work with Kids. I took my little girl to the dentist and Dr. Buchanan was her doctor, she had 2 sections in the first one, everything was fine and my little girl said it was fine that it did not hurt at all, in the second appointment for the second section the Doctor injected her anesthesia and left for 20 minutes and then the procedure started and after 15 minutes the gas they put on the children to relax was turned off and it took about 30 minutes to fix it, then she continued with the work before my little girl was finished. I was feeling pain and shedding tears, and I told the doctor that she was already feeling pain, but he said it was because I had given him indications that if he felt pain, he would let him know and that he wanted to continue with the procedure even if he was feeling pain and shedding tears. And in the end he said in the file that I did not let him finish the procedure. read more

I am writing this review again to follow and continuing of my previous review on March 12,2024. Today, I came in to La Clinica Vallejo at 415 Georgia st. When I walked in, I see the old man security guy who was opened the rest room while I was inside the restroom in March 12nd. I was complaining to the manager of La Clinica that day. The manager said will talk to the security company and will gave them the written notice of the incident. I am assuming the management of La Clinica didn't do any thing since I still see the old security guy still sitting there!!!' As far for the service, In my previous review, I gave La Clinica was best service in terms of medical. I will take it back!! I took my 14 year old daughter to her annual health exam overall I was satisfied with my visit until she started questioning my daughter about her gender ask me to leave the room then started questioning her about her gender it seemed that she was more concerned about that then my daughter's overall health the doctor also made my daughter feel very uncomfortable by asking her these personal questions like have you ever felt like a boy? Terrible patient care. My new born tested positive for COVID 6 days ago, had symptoms 3 days before that. CDC guidelines is 5 days of quarantine. I had this appointment scheduled before he got sick I didn't cancel because he was much better and had passed the 5 days. I get there and when they called his name I was sent outside, the doctor was going to see him outside because that was their policy! It so cold outside, no vitals just to glance at him, and with no one telling me this before when clearly I had an appointment with a doctor regarding his positive test, they were well aware. The MA gave me an appt for 3pm and decided to call me at 3pm when I already checked in at the office and say that my appt had to be rescheduled for 6pm. Who does that?? That was super annoying so I complained to the front desk and they got me in for 4pm instead and apologized. I am a patient here. I think when the doctors assistants or phone desk are rude the exploit me to make a good joke. When transferred to my doctors medical assistant. I said I have an appoint Friday. I explained I was previously not informed of this date. I explained " I am a full time student and at the end of the week I'm pressed for time to study. Can I get an earlier appointment." She said let me talk to your nurse practitioner. She replied 2 minutes later " mereb is booked for the next week. I can schedule you next week" I exclaimed I already have an appointment friday, so i will go to see him them". She snarled back " didnt you say you couldn't make it". I am a person with 2 suicide attempts and previously stalked by the man who molested me. The medical assistant could have easily said "yes mam, we will see you friday. Sorry for any inconveniences. Hebtestian is a great healthcare person, but not only do the all female staff make life difficult...I find it humiliating for women to speak to me in such an agitated manner. If I could give a negative review on La Clinica in Vallejo, more specifically Dr Vanessa Franko, I would. Dr Franko was recently a family members primary care doctor. The family member was not feeling well and went to her for help. The doctor said she believed they were a hypochondriac who was suffering from anxiety. Our family member was insistent that wasn't what it was. She went as far to send videos about not looking up symptoms. Our family member health was declining fast. She wouldn't even run blood work. After several appointments and conversations we just went around her to the ER. Even after being admitted to the hospital with a life threatening disease, she still tried to call and interrupt their care. Absolutely insanely inappropriate. Had to have her completely removed from their care. This physician is judgmental and jaded. Absolutely terrible!!!! read more

I first have to say that Dr. Jahangiri is really smart and caring. But that's where the good part stops. I have been texted cancellations several times on the day of the appointment and no offer to reschedule, did not receive calls for scheduled telephone appointments and not offered to reschedule, the receptionists all say something different when I call about the scheduling problems. The receptionists can be very rude as well. If I ask too many questions and need answers they hang up on me as soon as I stop talking. It seems obvious that the receptionists couldn't care less. I've been told several times, " I don't know what to tell you." Really professional, right? I received a text yesterday at 5 pm about a telephone appointment scheduled for today at 10 am. I didn't make the appt so I called this morning to ask about it. The receptionist (won't use names) said yes you have an appt with the case manager today @ 10 am, be expecting a call around that time. I don't have a case manager, but I waited for the call. At 10:55 I had not received a call. I called La Clinica again and a different receptionist told me that it wasn't really an appt for 10 am. She said, " the case manager has to put it on her calendar and then a text for an appt is sent to you automatically, but it's not really for that time." So, she is telling me they schedule an appointment for 10 am, but it's not really an appt for 10 am, but expect a call around 10 am. The case manager will call when she can and if you miss the call you can call us back. It has been very frustrating dealing with the scheduling and the rude receptionists! It's not right to dread calling your medical clinic to get information or make an appointment. I dread it, it is stressful and causes me anxiety. So, a lot of times I just put off calling which is not right when you need medical help. There are plenty of reviews stating the same complaints that I have. I would think someone would take notice and at least try to fix the problems and employ humans who actually want to help other humans. I have been an RN for 22 years. I have not and would never treat patients this way. I had a very rewarding career and always cared about my patients first and they knew it. This is part of the healing process. read more

Front Desk doesn't even acknowledge you when you walk in and have an appointment. Very rude customer service, and it's always been like this since I first started taking my kids here and if you have an appointment don't bother being called in until 20 plus to get called, other people get called ahead even though we arrived ON TIME and had to wait 17mins to get checked in. So frustrating coming here when you have an appointment and have to be here way longer because people can't multitask or acknowledge their patients. FRONT DESK NEEDS HELP. DO NOT even attempt to utilize this clinic. Not only is partnership health plan a joke, this place will seriously leave you on your death bed. I have had two appointments made in the past two months that when come the day before when I don't receive the confirmation call and have to call them to confirm, my appointments do not exist and I am forced to reschedule for WEEKS AND WEEKS into the future. I have been placed on benzodiazepines TWICE and have gone through benzo withdrawals twice now because of their scheduling and lack of following up with appointments and scheduling non existent ones with even a confirmation given in writing when the appointments were made. Now I am extremely ill, out of medication, and do not have an appointment until three weeks from now. Oh, and every single time I am able to get in, I never see the same person. Don't get me wrong. Having healthcare is something to not take for granted. But this place will only leave you worse off. As an R.N. with 35 years of professional nursing experience I must say this is one of the WORST places a person can go. I have been lied to, had providers qualifications misrepresented, have been denied access to a prescription I had filled and needed desperately and repeatedly hung up on by receptionists and nurse practitioners - repeatedly! The only saving grace is miy regular physician who seems to be unavailable a great deal of time and I must work with other providers who know nothing about me. The staff has no consistency, the wait time is awful, when calling you're lucky if you can get any real help no matter how big or small your issue is. My doctor thought I had cancer at one point. She sent a referral for me to get a biopsy. The staff lagged tremendously on the referral. I was prescribed over the counter eye drops for my eye that is far more serious than eye drops. (Why do I need a prescription for over the counter medicine. Only giving 2 stars because there's one amazing family medicine female doctor there that I'll update with her name once I get it after I breakup with this hospital. They were great when I was 18 and so much more tolerable, now I'm 21 and sick of the inconsistent communication. I had the copper IUD inserted and after a year of excruciating cramps I decided to call to see if I could get an ultrasound or something to see if it was out of place and/or just get it removed because it didn't work with my anatomy. I spoke to a doctor who said they'd communicate with this other doctor and to expect a call within the week to formally set up the appointment, keep in mind I told them how the cramps are so bad I can barely do anything for 2 days in my cycle and I'd just been on my hands and knees thinking I needed to call 911. I call 2 weeks later to check in on the status of that call-back, they said all she did was schedule me an appointment with another doctor a month out! I had a doctor blatantly lie to my face. That's when I met the amazing family medicine doctor. There's always good people even in a bad bunch, and I'll definitely come back to see her but everyone else sucks. The receptionists are rude and have no hesitation to express their attitude, refuse to check on wait times even when the doctor is an hour late to your well ahead scheduled appointment, and honestly I don't trust the judgment of a lot of these doctors. You can't get anything done and taken care of unless you eventually get ahold of the manager, who then does a very nice job at cleaning up the mess. This hospital taught me to get EVERYTHING marked on my chart including doctors confirming that they will simply communicate information to another doctor, since they lie about that pretty often in my experience here. If you need anything other than routine care, don't expect great things here. And even then be prepared to have your whole day messed up because they won't follow their own schedule! read more

DO NOT go here for your immigration medical exam (unless you have lots of time on your hands). With something as important as this, they seriously take their sweet ass time getting it back to you. Let me first explain, that we found out my husband was deploying so we were trying to get the paperwork in so that we can get an interview before he left (not anymore, now we're just trying to get the paperwork turned in before he leaves). I got an appointment about 3-4 weeks out but the woman was very helpful by saying that they get cancellations all the time and to call back every once in a while. Great!! I called back a few days later and was able to get an appointment the next Saturday because someone had cancelled. My exam was not with the civil surgeon (Dr. Mark Smith) it was with a very pleasant NP. I thought I would bring in my blood work from my last physical exam and my vaccination records, and my last chest x-ray. Everything went quickly (I'm a healthy 25 y.o.). So they told me that they would call me when it was ready to be picked up, I asked how long, they said it shouldn't take long and they would call. My husband and I were in the middle of moving so I had told them I would need to change my address. They gave me a call about a week after my appointment regarding the address I put on the form. I dropped by afterwork and told them I moved. They supposedly changed it in their system and they said that they'll call when the form is ready. Some other change of address problems came up (but it will make the story longer) - it was resolved that week. Another week came by so I decided to stop by again to check on my form. They now inform me that the blood work I had was unsuable! WHAT!? I had been in their office at least two times since then and they didn't tell me or call me?? Okay, so they say that the NP didn't know and blah blah. I ended up paying out of pocket for the lab work because I was in a time crunch. They were nice enough to draw my lab work and give me another TB. I got my TB read and my xray all in that same week. Flash forward into the new year and still DON'T have my form!! Stopped by the clinic again, and they said that it's because my of problems with my adress, WHAT?! That was resolved like three weeks ago. Said the Dr would be in the next day and that it should be ready the next day. Guess what? NOT READY YET... so fed up with this place. I wish I'd just forked over the $400 bucks at another Dr's. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for!! In the meantime, my husband's deployment date gets closer, we keep having to push our meeting with our lawyer and add a few more weeks in my wait for my green card. Very unhappy!! read more

This place is fantastic. I've only been during the Urgent Care hours, which is a service people should seriously take advantage of. The days/hours are Monday-Friday from 5PM to 8PM. No appointment is needed, just come in to the clinic around 4PM and generally they start seeing people within half an hour. Sure, the service can be slow at times, but what else do you expect? This is a clinic open to everyone with no membership cost, so a lot of people are going to be coming in. I for one am grateful to have this institution available to me and my health needs and don't mind waiting an extra amount of time. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable; from the doctors, to the front desk staff, to the medical assistants, everyone is very nice and polite and available to answer your questions. I'm not sure what else I can say, except that I highly recommend La Clinica for your health needs. read more

Just left my there for both of my daughter appointment and everything went well Ana is amazing and great with my kids . They both loved her, she is so nice to them and explains everything to them about what's going to go on. Doctor Gregory is such a sweetheart!! And patient with my kids. it's so crazy how many kids he sees in the years he's been there and still remembers my kids and everything I had the problems with or the little things I mention to him. I went here to have a pregnancy test done. I filled out the registration paperwork and returned it to the receptionist who then told me that i had to come back in a three hours to try to be seen by a doctor I left. When i returned in three hours the receptionist then informed me that they do not do pregnancy test there and that i had to go to the La Clinica North Vallejo location. I was furious that I had waited to try to see a doctor at a place that i could not perform the test i needed. I asked her when the other clinic started there drop in clinic, she informed me that they had also stared at the same time, I was again mad as that by the time i took a bus over there that the clinic's drop in would be closed. She handed me a pamphlet before i left showing me the clinic that i would need to go to. As I was on my way back home i started reading the pamphlet i noticed that the clinic in North Vallejo did not perform pregnancy tests and that i would need to go to their other clinic La Clinica Great Beginnings. I only took my kids here for check ups and one time for urgent care. I will attest to the immensely moronic way that they "start" urgent care. What is so difficult about a name list or pulling a number?! Two ARMED security guards blocked both doors as they announced, hands on their belts, that the line for urgent care would form outside. People got up and friggin bum rushed both doors! This is not and exaggeration! I had to shield my child, who was already on my lap, from the people throwing elbows trying to get passed each other. We got up and went out when all the chaos was over only to circle back around to fill out a clip board and be given a number. (You know, something they should've done in the beginning!) We were seen maybe 30 minutes after that and the physician we saw as very nice and informative. The nurses can be nice but they sneeze and cough all over things in plain view. Again, no exaggeration. We immediately transferred to the North Vallejo location after this experience. read more

This review is a love/hate review. It depends whether you speak to a receptionist that is in a good mood or bad. I gave birth 9 months ago and sadly I still go here. I recently moved to San Jose, so its gonna take forever for me to transfer my stuff to their medical facility. To start off this review lets start with their doctors. They obviously dont know what they're talking about. My daughter was sick and the doctor said it's because she's teething. I listened to her... yet... 9 months later still no teeth appearing, the doctor just wanted to rush the appointment.. Second! I went in 2 months ago for my daughters shots.. 3 hours later i get a call saying we need to return to redo a shot?!? REALLY!? My daughter is a baby, why the hell would she need to go through the pain of a shot AGAIN! Lastly, 2 weeks ago I called to schedule an appointment because my daughter was running a fever of 101. The receptionist said she'll talk to the doctor and the doctor will call me back... okay.. 3 hours passed. I called and wondered whether i would receive a phone call.. Receptionist said .. "oh she hasn't called. Ok. ill let her know.." ONE DAY LATER!!!! Nothing.. NO call NO follow up. NOTHING!! So parents if you want your child to suffer and feel neglected by all means go to this horrible facility. I have never been treated with so much disrespect the FNP Jessica Del Mundo is rude ,unsympathetic and if she doesn't like you questioning her she threatened to stop my pain medication. I moved out here 3 years ago from Napa where I had a actual Doctor who prescribed me the medication and prescription amount at clinic olé. I had been going there for more than 10 years. I move start going to la clinica and they lowered my dose because of a small amount of marijuana in my blood lowered my dose and told me that if there's weed in my System they would not prescribe me my medication so the next time they test me there was no marijuana in my system and two years later they still haven't put me back on the same prescription amount I was on when I was in living in Napa . I have gone through withdrawals because they cannot get their prescriptions filled on time even when you call five days in an advance like they want you to you still don't get your medication on time I've had to speak with the supervisor two times because of that and each time they tell me it will never happen again and it just seems to keep happening. Nurse practitioner Jessica Del Mundo is rude disrespectful does not listen and is unsympathetic. If you have to go to LaClinica like I do I don't recommend you be seen by Jessica Del Mundo. Don't go to this clinic if you are not a latino/latina. even if you have an appt. they would let someone in first. I have an appt for my grandson one day, I was 30 min. early so I waited but it was already 1 hour past my appt still they haven't called us but all the latina who comes in was called in right away. Another lady came in, (as we were seating by the window) I heard their conversation. The lady said that they they were late, their appt was 30 after mine then the receptionist told her to come in and she will be seen. I confronted the receptionist and she said that that was not true, told her that I do understand spanish as my father is from Spain and speaks fluent Spanish. So I told her I am going to complain about it and next thing you know she let me in and was seen right away. This is not the only experience we had with this clinic just the last time, i never went back after that. read more

After my husband died our insurance was cancelled and even when I got on Obamacare I had a hard time finding anyone who would take it. Just because a provider is on the Anthem Blue Cross list doesn't mean that Anthem will actually pay them. Unbelievable , but true. La Clinica accepted my insurance and gave me a reasonably soon appointment. Looks a bit run down and the staff looks a bit too kicked back, but the care I received was as good as any I've had anywhere. They have blood work done on the premises, which is nice. The doctor I saw was kind and professional , asked intelligent, pertinent questions and really seemed to be on her game. No arrogance, just intelligence. We were on Kaiser for more than 25 years and even though we paid a fortune for it , many times we were treated as though we were on welfare and they were doing us a favor. I think a lot of people at La Clinica ARE on welfare and they are treated with kindness and respect, at least in front of me! I have no problem recommending them. read more
