We were tired and didn't want to look around too much for food, so we picked this out of 4 eateries that were next to each other to give it a try since it's menu had the most varieties of food comparing to the other 3 restaurants nearby. We didn't want to sit outside due to the smokers who were sitting in the outdoor dining area, and there were only a few tables inside so fortunately there weren't as many people sitting inside as there were outside.
After we sat down it took us awhile before we ordered since there were so many items on the menu that we wanted to try but we didn't want to over-order and waste food. We finally decided on 2 tapas and 2 main course items. The chorizo with cider was good, although how they came out did not look exactly like how they appeared on the photo in the menu. The beef kidneys were good and interesting as I have never seen that on menus back home, which was why I decided to try this tapa dish instead of the cockles and razor clams that I would prefer. After all we are in Spain so we should try something local and unique instead of something that we could get at home.
The steak frites with mushroom sauce was good. The paella could have been better if the chef were gentle on that salt shaker as it was too salty for my taste. That was the only dish that came out saltier than I would like, so stay away from the paella if you don't like too much salt in your food. read more
