Visiting from Texas.. wanted to do a bit os shisha. Nice lil hookah spot in Paris. Good service and the hookah is on point. Had the green tea which I recommend as well.

Having high expectations and getting good hookah from start to finish is difficult to find a good spot. Plus when I see a place with so many positive reviews I would question if its any good. But I can assure you this place lives up too all you think. Our sever Habib is very courteous. He speaks multiple languages one of them English which helps ! I came here twice both times the hookah was great! My mix was lemon mint with a fruit bowl (pineapple). The hose is smaller than I'm use too but it still did the job easy to pull and clean! The hookah design is pretty too. I sat outside where you can see people etc.. The price is very reasonable $16-18 Euro (much cheaper than the USA I pay $25-$40).

You MUST COME HERE. So let's be real, which lounge have you ever gone to that has given personal attention to each and everyone in your party? From the music you want, to the hookah, and the drinks-- he makes everything customized just to your liking. Yes this place isn't a 5 star looking lounge--- but Habib, the owner, spends all of this time here just to make it a 7 star experience. I have travelled across the world and I'll tell you that this place is the only hookah spot I'll come to when I'm in Paris and when I'm not, I'm going to miss Habib's amazing hospitality. I'm truly going to miss coming here. I have been here every night of my trip, and despite this city being Paris, this was the highlight of my trip-- and yes, I truly mean that! Oh, and the wifi-- amazing!! He went out of his way for us-- and not only us, everyone that walks in here. We were so hungry after spending 6 hours here that he cooked us something special. Who does that ? I could go on and on about how great Habib and his hospitality is, but I will leave you on this note: this man and his business deserves your business -- you won't regret it, take it from someone who is a snob when it comes to customer satisfaction ;-)

My wife and I love mingling with locals wherever we travel to. How better to mingle with locals than smoke shisha? We absolutely loved this place. We arrived around 1900hours on a Sunday and noticed it was fairly quiet. 3 hours in to being here it got pretty packed and Habib (the guy who runs the place) was amazing! Very attentive and is great at multitasking. He even let my wife hook up her phone to the speakers. It was wicked to see Parisians groove to old school hip hop. It was perfect! We will definitely come back here next time we are in Paris. Oh! And please do yourself a favor and order the hot tea while there. It's amazing!!

Seeing as we love hookah, we just knew we had to check out a hookah bar while in Paris. Did a search for one and La Chance came up as the creme de la creme so off we went. OK SO after getting off at the wrong metro stop we decided to walk to La Chance and after about 20 mins or so and feeling very lost, I was ready to head up the stairs of the metro stop that was immediately to my right when La Chance appeared in front of us (sigh - reading is truly fundamental). Anywhoo, we ventured inside to be greeted by the pleasant smell of shisha and the warm smile of the owner Habib. He ushered us inside the smoking room where we grabbed a corner area and plopped down to check out the menu. I ordered a glass of wine (which I do NOT recommend), the wife ordered a beer and we ordered a bowl of cocktail flavored shisha. Now I've never had the experience of the fruit bowl hookah so it was a treat to get the super large pipe with a big ole grapefruit holding the shisha! We proceeded to chill, toke up and groove to the music then we realized it was another patron's phone hooked up to the speakers for the music so once they left I made sure to get the permission of the owner and hooked up my Spotify playlist which was great. While the spot and everyone who walks in is super chill, what made the experience so fantastic is, as many reviewers noted - Habib. He is VERY attentive to his patrons without hovering, changes out the coals constantly to make sure you're getting your hookah on properly and is really personable. He even went so far as to see if we could get American Football on TV (Hey, it was a Sunday and two of my teams were playing. DO NOT JUDGE ME!) unfortunately it wasnt in the cards for us. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we got another head and it was Habib's special blend which was so smooth and fruity - loved it! After a couple of trips to the CLEAN bathroom (sorry but this is worth noting since I cannot do nasty bathrooms) it was finally time to roll out. Oh yea, almost forgot about why you shouldnt order the wine. SO I will say that the wine I had was very... basic but nobody goes there for wine or beer for that matter. They go for his amazing homemade mint tea. We kept seeing the kettle coming into the room and considering its a little chilly In Paris right now, we decided to order a pot for ourselves and I'm so glad we did. Dont mess around and miss out! When I return to Paris, I definitely plan to pop back into La Chance to take it down for a few hours.

I don't know where to start! Habib was amazing from the time we entered to the Time we left! If you're in Paris, please stop by, smoke some hookah and have a drink! BEST HOOKAH IN PARIS. They use real charcoal and grapefruit heads (no one else in Paris does fruit heads; just the standard small clay bowls- and let's face it, if you know good hookah, those suck). They have many many flavors and actually different type of fruit bowls (watermelon, BANANA, you name it!). We are very picky when it comes to shisha (chicha in Paris) and I can easily say this was the best experience I ever had. I am so glad we did our research and found this location. Very clean location (and bathroom). Most importantly, the head manager, Habib, gave us the BEST service. Very friendly and accommodating. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Go try it, you will not be disappointed.

I had the best shisha ive ever had in my life .. Habib was great at recommending it . i allowed him do his thing because of the many reviews i had seen on this page . To top it off , he offered free Tequila on the house ( Happy Happy Dance ) . The place was female friendly given that i walked in to a bunch of 30 plus watching a football match and not once did i feel out of place even if i was the only female in the premise then . So once again Yelp comes to the rescue. So I'm on vacation in Paris & after a day of running round touring I needed some hookah. After checking out a reviews on here I elected to go to La Chich'Art. It's a nice hookah spot like 15 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. I'm mad at myself because I can't remember the owner's name cause he was an excellent host. The hookah flavor pieces where much better than the ones here in Baltimore & the hookahs hit much better too. The settings of the place is just perfect you're giving the option of outside, upstairs, or a basement area with the outside giving you a beautiful view of Paris. Best part is for 2 hookahs, 4 shots, & juices came up to not even $75. This is definitely a must visit whenever you're in Paris between the prices, hookah, & great service this is a win! read more

Stopped here for a nightcap on our last night in Paris and it was such a great decision! The guy who tended to us, possibly also the owner, was magnificent. We weren't sure about which hookah flavors to get, so he suggested one and then made us his own concoction for the second one. I'm not sure what it was, but it was strong and delicious. We had some cocktails which were modestly priced , and I had a mojito which was ok, not the best. However, my friends loved their drinks. I love that they had no official DJ or playlist, but instead had a radio set up that allowed you to play your own music. It was Sunday and pretty empty so we took turns with another group on controlling which music played. I'm not sure what would happen on a busy weekend, with multiple people wanting to play music, but it worked out great for us. The guy later brought out some bubbly concoction and showed us how to blow some beautiful hookah bubbles which was fun to try out, I'd never seen that before. Even though the place was closing up, he never rushed us and even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. Amazing place and exceptional service! read more

This is the best hookah I've ever had in my life. I'm from California, and I'm visiting Paris for leisure. I've been to hookah bars in Las Vegas, Hawaii, Mexico, Florida, West Hollywood, etc etc and this one takes the cake! The owner is amazing, he is so friendly and very informed on his craft. The shisha is so smooth and lasts a very long time, we smoked more than an hour and it was 3 of us huffing and puffing away. We love this place and you will not be disappointed. Make this your p of choice if you're looking for a good hookah spot in Paris. Edit: returned again in 2019, literally stopped in Paris during another trip around Europe JUST FOR THIS HOOKAH. It is well worth it, and the quality has not changed. It remains the Best Hookah in Paris :) read more

Came all the way from New York, USA. Had an amazing time here. Habib treated us like family. I dropped the hookah pipe and it shattered the base. Habib didn't even get mad, a true professional. He quickly made us a new hookah and cleaned up the mess personally. Such a humble guy, i can't even describe it. The hookah tasted very well. Never made us cough and was packed correctly. Beautiful presentation, definitely the best hookah in town. read more

This was the most unexpected surprise of my early September Paris trip. My brother and sister-in-law had visited Habib before, but didn't realize we would end up at his place again, as according to them, it has undergone a major makeover. This hookah lounge is a trip into the original purpose of hookah lounges- a place to relax, smoke great hookah and have conversation, with the music at a reasonable volume. Kudos, Habib even let us play our own Bollywood hits on his big screen. I am from NYC and we are plagued with horrible hookah lounges. Even our best hookah lounges cannot match the service and quality of hookah Habib provides. I consider myself a hookah connoisseur, and with that said, this is the best hookah I have EVER had. It did not burn once. Habib used the coconut charcoal, instead of the cheap, chemical laden discs. His flavors actually provided flavor instead of an excuse for tobacco that are provided at many joints. HABIB, WE LOVE YOU! You will always be on the top of our list in Paris! read more

I have visited a few times for shisha. The shisha has always been excellent, good variety, and the manager very friendly. It is quite a small place, with one main room and a basement level. Drinks (they serve alcohol) and shisha are well priced. When I went there were special student prices. I haven't eaten here, but the there were a few different toasted options available. Definitely worth visiting. It's not luxurious, but does the job for an inexpensive shisha session. read more

Slow service, but friendly - a pretty good hookah as well. Nice side cafe where you can watch the homeless under the bridge, or the joggers running by. So a little strange. The hookahs are of the fruit topped tourist variety, but fun. A good smoke. They also have a decent beer list, which is something unusual for the types of shops I normally visit (good hookah and Muslim usually go hand in hand, so alcohol is often nixed.) I'll be back! read more

One of the few hookah/shisha places I could find in Paris. It venue is nothing fancy but cute with a few seats outside. Hookah was good with natural coals with free refill of coals. Nice staff and good wifi. read more

Friendly atmosphere and great shisha. The music adds to the aroma of relaxation and the "kick back" feeling. Never had a fruit based Shisha (fruit mounted on top instead of your generic tabaco vase); it was exquisite! Second time here and can't get enough. Mr. Habib does well to make sure all is well. Highly recommended and would come back for sure when in Paris again! read more

This place is amazing!!! It was so good that we came here two nights in a row while we were visiting Paris.... the owner is SO very nice and treated us very well both nights . It was clear that he was appreciative of our patronage. Stopped into this cafe a couple times and was surprised at the hospitality and execution of service. Habib knows his hookah and is a great host. A decent amount of options and decent pricing mixed with well crafted smoke make for a good evening near the Eiffel Tower. read more

Habib is great at what he does .he made me a wonderful fruit bowl it was so good I ordered another one . Also a plus he speaks France and English . This place is great! Habib is so welcoming. We visited Paris during the riots and came here because there were limited options but so glad it worked out that way. As a serious lover of hookah, I recommend you disregard every other hookah lounge in or around Paris and just go here. The hookah is top notch, prices are very reasonable, coals are natural, and service is excellent. The owner is warm, accommodating and provides service unparalleled anywhere in Paris. I've had both the mint shisha and the apple mint and they've both been excellent on multiple occasions. The mint tea is a must have also, and fruit heads are well made and smoke beautifully. Music requests are accepted and free potato chips are provided to all customers. Don't be fooled by it's modest exterior, La Chi Chance is a must visit in Paris for all hookah/shisha aficionados. read more

Le salon de thé LA CHANCE a été créé en 2009 au 6 boulevard Pasteur dans le 15ème arrondissement de Paris. Habib , jeune étudiant Londonien a décidé de venir à Paris pour faire un " break " de ses études. Dynamique, drôle et attachant il est un très bon serveur mais aussi très bon barman. Vous pouvez lui demander un " spécial cocktail" qui sera un cocktail inventif de sa création. C'est grâce à son inventivité que vous pouvez apprécier les chichas à tête de fruits, son idée!

Very welcoming place with great hookah on Khalil mamoons , service and owner! I've been in this wonderful place for 2 times and it was always amazing as I am in wonderland! At first visit me and my friend smoked 2 very tasty hookahs on pineapple and drunk good Heineken beer (owner gave us chips and nuts for beers which was very kind of him) and at the end owner gave us tequila shots and some mint sweets as a present! At the second visit I smoked very very tasty hookah on watermelon! All the hookahs made in this lounge bar are really pieces of art! I like it very much that owner takes so much passion and creativity in the process-I would really like to give him a Michelin star for the things he made with so accurate introduction of his own style of hookah creating!!! As an international tourist I felt myself so good and like I am at home having all friendly atmosphere around, this is amazing! Owner's suggestions on hookah were really worth of 100/10, and prices are good for tourists! Picturesque old city views are located nearby and you can sit on the street to watch all the beauty of Paris around, so it was an amazing experience for me of having good time and relationship in beautiful France! My girlfriend and I came to Paris from the United States and on our first night we found ourselves walking around the city looking for something fun to do late at night. I looked up this bar and, because of the good reviews of Habib and the rest of the bar, we decided to stop in for a drink and a hookah. But the bar ended up being so much fun and the service and hospitality from Habib, the owner, was so exceptional that we spent the rest of our night there! He even brought us out bubbles to blow hookah smoke into and gave us complimentary shots. We had a hell of a time here at this bar and I can honestly say it was because of Habib and how friendly and nice he is. So you think you've had hookah? YOU HAVEN'T until you've been to LA CHI CHANCE !!! I've been around the globe and this is hands down the best hookah experience in the world! The owner is a genius. Not only is it smooth but he injects a blend of art into every order. Also ask for the Habib special, a pineapple carving infused with mango and alcohol. This is a cant miss experience in Paris. I LOVE IT HERE, me and my girlfreind were looking for a shisha bar near Eiffel Tower, we ended up here and couldn't be more satisfied, no matter how full it is, the servers will make you feel like you're the only couple in the bar, cocktails are 10/10 and 11/10 price considering the location. we were given on the house shots, crisps and amazing hospitality, no better place to go for a comfortable experience, I will be returning 100%. read more
