She was experiencing significant dental pain, and we were initially told that the office accepted her insurance. Once we arrived, however, we were informed that insurance would not be used for her particular problem and that we would need to pay the full balance ourselves. Because my mother was in considerable pain, we agreed to proceed. We were told that what appeared to be an infection required drainage and cleaning. She initially felt better after the procedure and pain medication, but the relief lasted only about three days. Her pain gradually returned and, by the seventh day, had become excruciating. We then took her to her regular dentist, who performed additional imaging and determined that she needed a root canal. When I contacted Pacific Dental to discuss what had happened and express my concerns, the office staff came across as dismissive and defensive rather than helpful or understanding. I understand that dental conditions can sometimes require additional treatment, but the combination of the unexpected insurance issue, the temporary relief, and the way our concerns were handled made this a very poor experience for our family.

I literally said to myself this is why I don't like coming to the dentist. But it did get better! This staff is so very friendly and accommodating. The dentist is very professional, very friendly and very personable. Even when I mentioned that I felt like I had certain procedures done before, the dentist stated that if I had that information to provide then it would alleviate some of the other steps that I would have to take that he had mentioned. Now that's something that doesn't happen often. The front staff is so very pleasant and so friendly and helpful it just made this whole experience well Worth it. My gums would bleed significantly after almost every cleaning, which had never happened to me before. I also had multiple fillings done, and over time every one of those fillings has come out. That has completely undermined my confidence in the quality of the dental work I received. Another concern was that my cleanings were performed by the dentist rather than a dental hygienist, which made the appointments feel even more rushed. This tooth had already gone through two root canals, and another dentist recommended replacing the crown. Instead, Dr. Dino resolved the infection with an antibiotic gum injection, followed by dental hygiene care two weeks later. Now it's May, and my tooth feels healthy and fresh again. No more odor, no more infection, and he saved my crown. The hygienist, Kimberly. Her excellent care truly enhanced the results of Dr. Dino's treatment. Two words immediately come to mind: thorough and intelligent..
