We tried the white, orange and red wines, all of which were excellent. It was our first time having an orange wine and it was really good! The shop owner was pretty nice to us and provided great recommendations. The overall price turned out to be cheaper than we expected. Will be back soon! I see a lot of comments about the owner being rude. The owner was not super nice but also not rude. We did not do the wine tasting so maybe that's different. I am also a native French speaker.

The United States needs more wine shops like this!…read more We stumbled upon this place after the beer shop we were looking for was closed for the afternoon. I mean, we're in Paris so you gots to drink some vin, oui? The owner, Phillippe, was absolutely lovely and chatted with us about the various wines they have on tap (40!). How it works: It's a card system that is loaded with 20 Euros. You go around and put the card into the machine, pick the wine you want and the sample size. You can get just a sample, medium fill or a full glass. Once you're done drinking, hand the card to the cashier and pay the amount you drank. Most of the sample sizes cost around 1-1.5Euro. For me, this is a great way to sample a variety of wines without committing to a full glass. There is plenty of seating on the main floor as well as the lower level. Bringing some snacks and it would make for a great evening!
