While I was not interested in the hamburgers, the empanadas and pizza both caught my attention. I was a little disappointed with the variety of fillings for the empanadas, but they were rather tasty. The pizza was surprisingly good. We ordered half four cheese and half pepperoni. Whatever the case, there was something about the pizza sauce that was awesome. It seemed darker red than most sauces and appeared to have chunks of nice tomatoes..definitely looked and tasted like it didn't come out of a bottle,mans if it did, that bottling company is darn good. We also had the food delivered, frankly because I was tired and wanted to get home, but the interior looked inept erecting and the staff very friendly. They were very busy so the service was a slow. However the food, drinks, and music made up for it. We ordered mangonadas, a cazuela, and margaritas, they were all very good. We shared french fries and guacamole as appetizers and they were good as well. As an entree we ordered a parillada, it was a solid choice and I would definitely reccomend it. I made a reservation several hours prior to our arrival and even with that they did not have our table let alone the area we wanted. our server took for what seemed like an eternity to come greet us. not to mention they also took forever to take our order and the guest were tended to who had arrived later than we had. the meals we had were okay, a little bland and not much flavor. I will say they have a phenomenal spot for a great view of the cathedral of Guadalajara. I can assure you the I why they have business because of the view. when it was time to close the check we had a couple of hurdles. at first the machine died while we were closing the check and so we were not sure if they transaction had gone thru. so they somehow convinced us to run the card again and then we checked our bank and both charges had cleared but on their terminal it did not say that. so we asked for a refund to which the server that was helping us stated or showed no knowledge of how to process a return. then the second terminal died and we were in the middle of a return. so we wait some more to verify that the returned had processed. so we go back to our seats and wait. several minutes later the server comes back and simply tells us that we were good to go that it was all taken care of. no receipt. no physical proof shown to us to certify this. so we check the bank it had not gone through to which is normal because refund don necessarily process that quick. so we asked for a receipt. the dissatisfaction is in the fact that they never offered to provide us the proper documentation to have proof of the series of events. like if the servers word counted as proof. mind you the check was $1,875.00 peso which is a pretty decent check. needless to say.. we could of been out double the amount and they would of not done anything about it. beware.

It was located around the corner from an Airbnb I was staying at and was surrounded on a fairly walkable strip by other sophisticated eats. This visit was a nice evening date where we grabbed lamb tacos, drinks, and empanadas. The lamb tasted as if it had been marinated by the gods; it was tender, melted in your mouth, and carried a flavor that I'll never forget. The empanadas were perfectly filled and made fresh to order.
