The host was welcoming, friendly and informative and more than happy to talk you through the food available and I had a gorgeous mixed kebab to start with and a tagine for the main course. I thoroughly enjoyed both and the spirited conversation with the waiting staff (Hassan?) who was more than happy to accomodate any special needs by ourselves and surrounding quests. My companion ordered a dessert but couldn't eat it all so they happily wrapped it in foil for her to take home. It wasn't cheap but it was quality food, value for money and I had the feeling the table was ours for the night if we wanted it and children were happily catered for. I could envisage having a large family gathering for an alternative Sunday lunch here as it was a warm welcoming environment.
