Came in and worked with Dave. Apple MacBook with the dreaded key caps falling off issue after a…read morecouple of months. Full AppleCare+ on the device. Made a reservation through Apple. When I arrived they wanted to charge me a $99 diagnostic fee, and told me it would likely cost me $300 for a keyboard replacement as AppleCare doesn't cover keyboard defects. This is even before looking at the issue in depth. Called them out on it, and the person helping me was a little too "grippy" with my device after I asked for it back. Got the device back into my hands navigating the awkward not letting go of my device, and called Apple immediately after. From some other reviews looks like they overcharge for covered warranty work, in hopes of getting a lien on peoples devices and selling it. Whatever their shady motivations Watch Out! Apple said absolutely covered under warranty and AppleCare+ accidental (if not a warranty repair) and would be $99 if it was damaged caused by me regardless of extent of damages. This place is a bunch of scammers, came here to support a local business instead of going to the mall Apple Store. I can only imagine what they do to older and less informed people. **UPDATE**: As expected, Apple shipped me out a box next day, shipped device in, and it came back next day. Keyboard fixed, no cost.

My daughter is a college student who brought her MacBook Pro in for service. They said they…read morerepaired the laptop but when she got home it wasn't fixed. She came home to bring it to the apple store. According to apple they only ran tests on the computer which apple said should have only taken 5 minutes instead of the 1.5 hours they charged her for. On top of that they did not replace any parts which would be the only reason to charge according to apple. When I called the store asking for a refund they told me they fixed the laptop and were unwilling to refund money that we paid.

I'm so glad someone told me about this place. We took my husband's phone that Verizon declared…read moreirreparable to Monster Buy Back. We handed it off to Ryan at 10:00 a.m., they emailed me updates, and by afternoon, calledcwiyh a diagnosis and cost ($35) to repair a display cable. Not only was it done and charged, but Seth and Matthew, who executed the repair, emailed us instructions on how to use a computer to bypass the (broken) power button and how to get photos and data off the phone (a primary concern). So when the big retailers tell you that you need a new phone, I recommend you first check with the tech savvy staff of Monster Buy back. They saved us hundreds of dollars AND rescued our pictures and data. They also sell phones (including unlocked and used) and accessories, tho I did not need any of those this time.

Don't know what happened with the first review of the Eyewear Shop. It was the best experience I've…read morehad in a lifetime of shopping for glasses and contacts. The lady that I dealt with (Amy) was super knowledgeable about all the glass frames that they carried---and there are a lot. I wanted something unusual and interesting and she gave me guidance on a nice selection and good information what coatings etc. were available. There was no push to the most expensive frames, and she was very friendly and helpful. The Eyewear Shop is located in and associated with a top-notch Ophthamology practice and they would never allow the kind of behavior described in the previous review.
