Moog is small, literally underground, and the electronic music you'll find here is genuine. Not the commercial nonsense typical of a big, touristy venue. Bring earplugs or cotton for your, the bass is heavy. Some of the best dance nights out I've had have been in tiny spots like Moog. It's dark as he'll on the dance floor too. I subtracted 1 star for the smoke machine. That stuff is not needed and it's a little irritating to the senses. Other than that, I am a fan of this spot. We found it by accident and I'm glad we did!

Locals and tourists alike flock to get down to the international acts in this underground establishment. Upon walking up to the place on an undisclosed Barcelona narrow street I was greeted with echos of bass in the distance. Good vibes all around and the usual with these events, drinks and substances flowing like water, the locals buying out the bar, out-of-towners here to get down until the morning, local knuckle heads looking for a fun night, bouncers keeping everything in check, and folks flexing some night moves. If you are looking for a loud, bass heavy night of underground/worldwide music, make the off the beaten path treck here and enjoy a long night and see what Barcelona has to offer!

Our tattoo artist recommended Antilla on Wednesday nights because that's 'Salsa night'. We went the next day but we could not keep up! Information You Should Know: - Yes, Wednesday nights are Salsa nights. Maybe a little Bachata. - It was free to get in but there's a catch... you're given a beverage ticket requiring you to purchase a drink at the bar and ONLY then can you leave. So, you get a piece of paper at the door, hand it to the bartender, pay for your drink, and get new piece of paper allowing you to leave whenever you want. I honestly love this concept! You get something in return instead of just paying a cover like you do in the US. - So You Think You Can Dance? I thought I could but once I saw the level of skill on the dance floor I moved and stayed sipping my Gin and Tonic. It was very intimidating! But it was a lot of fun watching others effortlessly dance all around. - Friendly towards tourists- We were a group of 4 and clearly not locals but we felt so comfortable being here! No one looked at us differently or treated us any differently. Overall, if you are a good dancer then you will love this place. If you're a beginner like me then maybe not so much. Hope this review helps!

ENGLISH I visited Opium Barcelona on Tuesday night (Jan 20,…read more2026) during a business trip with several colleagues. Our group had already spent a significant amount of money at the venue the night before, so this experience was especially disappointing. During the evening, I bought a bottle of water at the upper bar. While briefly speaking with a colleague (around 10 seconds), I placed the bottle on the lower bar counter opposite the cloakroom. A staff member immediately removed it. When I approached her right away and explained that I had just purchased it, she refused to return it or provide a replacement. The bigger issue was not the drink, but the way I was treated. The employee, who gave the name "Georgina" (tall, slim, brown hair), spoke no English at all and reacted in a very dismissive and disrespectful way. Instead of trying to understand the situation, she made a hand gesture telling me to go away. Her tone and behavior were rude and confrontational, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. For an international club of this reputation, it is surprising that staff in direct contact with guests cannot communicate even basic English or handle a simple situation professionally. The interaction left me with a very negative impression and a clear feeling of being treated without respect or basic courtesy. Because of this experience, I would not feel comfortable returning, and I believe other guests should be aware of how situations like this can be handled here.

Wanted to do something semi local and not a night club on a Monday, so did some digging and Nasty Mondays popped up. A bartender said she loved the venue on Sunday nights so that was green light enough for me. There were two lines upon arrival and I'm not entirely sure what the difference between the two was, but somehow my pal and I were the last to be shuffled in via the fast moving line. We still had to pay a cover but it was the price of a drink and included a drink, so win/win all around. It's a pretty spacious venue with an upstairs and downstairs and some haphazardly roped off VIP section for people with bottle service (which seems unnecessary given the music selection and vibe of the evening). The music was a mix between rock and '80s, which is not my fave but the kiddos seemed to enjoy it. It gets packed quickly and the "Nasty" part is when these two DJs get on stage and do some interesting theatrics before they start spinning. Entertaining, definitely. The music stayed relatively the same and while it was a little more upbeat because of the energy from the stage, it got late and I grew more tired instead of "let's rage." I wouldn't recommend it highly but I also wouldn't not recommend it. You know?

The party runs every week from around 2am to 6am (nightlife of Barcelona starts super late). Entrance fee was 16 euros with a free drink. The alcohol was of really bad quality. Literally got a stomach ache a few hours later, but the music was impressive! They mainly played famous American rock songs. Your guilty pleasure songs might very well be on the list. Very danceable and fun. The crowd was pretty amazing. You could definitely hit up some convos with strangers from all over the world. Too packed close to the main stage but there were some good spots up the terrace. There was another scene down the basement playing the "nasty bass". They're DJing some EDM and electro. Honestly, the beats were not bad at all, even though we didn't know any of the music.
