I told her that I was leery of going to African hair braiders because every time that I did, they did not do a good job. She assured me that she was a professional. I had hurt my arm and could not finish up the back which is why I decided to pay someone else to do it. She did a terrible job!!! I, the amateur, did a much better job than she! The front part of my hair is nice and neat, visible lines of demarcation and even-looking braids. The back of my hair is sloppy, chunky braids, and no visible lines of demarcation. When I came home and saw the back if my head I wanted to cry. I paid her a hefty tip and now I have to pay someone else to re-do it. I am officially done with African hair braiders. Four times, four different braiders, and they all mess up. No more for me. And shame on you Kone!!! You gets no stars from me!!!

I would never never come here again…read more I don't received the microlinks - my hair was styled very nice. What the one star is for is for the quality of hair and the price . I was even nice and bought the stylist a fucking coffee. I paid about $1k and I felt like a fool.first I asked for kinky hair - they said they didn't have it in stock (but then they post it a few days after my service). I asked for 20 inches and when I got there they said they have 22 (which forced me to pay more). After paying all that I still had to tip on top of that. I noticed that the hair shed A LOT. Cheap ass shit. And omg, if I washed it, it tangled so badly (it made me feel like it was a mix of human and synthetic hair...but watch the owner or someone respond claiming it's not). They also charge 200 or more to tighten it. I never went back to tighten it. Instead I went to another salon and Bbbbaaaabbyyyy for 150 they laid my hair the best I've ever seen it. They did such an amazing job. I should've went to that salon before coming here Don't come here. Also the name of the hair salon is called "NU magazine hair salon" .... Fuck this place. Had they NOT overcharged and provided quality hair i would've been a repeat customer.

I requested a refund of the consultation fee since the service could not be provided as promised, but was denied. I understand the need to protect booked time, but I hope you'll consider more flexible solutions for clients who notify you in advance and were told their delay would be acceptable. I do not recommend this establishment as they double-book themselves and have limited availability for rescheduling appointments.
