For a really big plate of Colombian food come here! If you are a meat eater you may just HAVE to try the Churrasco Argentino - Argentine beef served with potato wedges, fried green plantain and garnish with dips!! It's quite a treat and like I said VERY authentic! A great treat - really reasonable and lovely food and good music to go with the food - great atmosphere!

There was a mariachi band playing when we entered, someone was celebrating their 15th birthday (fancy). The place is spacious. There was at least 50pax in one corner celebrating the birthday, another group of 10 seated in a corner and we were a group of 6pax. The rest were in 4s or 2s. So you can easily imagine how many people they can fit in this restaurant. Amazing. The food here is crazy huge. Starters cost anything from £1.50/empanada to £8.50/arepa. There's a wide selection to choose from. The highlight for the main course is their steaks. THEY. ARE. HUGE. I'm so glad my man and I shared a starter and one of the steaks. We were struggling to finish them. The steak ranges anything from £14.50 - £19.90. Best steak value we've had in London. They serve other meats too like pork, chicken and seafood. Service here is awesome, fast, efficient, staffs were friendly and polite. This is going to be another fun place to hang out in Elephant & Castle. Totally worth coming here. If you're thinking to hold a special/unique party/event, you could total consider this place.

However, the service ruins everything as it is extremely slow and not particularly good. Food comes out reasonably quickly but to make an order and receive the bill it takes forever. Such a pity.

It's not a critically-acclaimed restaurant for nothing. This is Latin-American cuisine at its…read morefinest. The flavors are the closest to the authentic Latin creations I grew up eating, yet also manage to add their own unique and delicious twists to make them pop even more. The ingredients are carefully selected, paired well, and cooked to perfection to make every dish unforgettable. For my first run, I tried the Seared Braised Beef with julienned crispy potatoes, which reminds me of the Lomo Saltado we do in California. The beef is tender and succulent, salty & flavorful, and topped with sliced roasted veggies. The crispy potatoes are amazing, too, but I wish there had been more. This is also the first restaurant I've been to in London that serves fried yuca (cassava) since I moved here... and that was more than 4 years ago. If you're hungry, get this as your side. Brownie points to them for using truffle oil to give them that little extra flair. The drinks don't disappoint, either. Their cocktails are utilizing "better" versions of Latin spirits (think Fair Quinoa Vodka), which means they're slightly pricier but also offer a more varied experience. The wine list is also plentiful, so pick your poison. Given the lively nature of its environment, it's definitely a restaurant for the social experience. However, reservations in advance are strongly recommended, whether you're coming alone or in a group. The ONLY downside I could find about this place was their complete lack of alternative milks. So, if you want something other than dairy to go with your tea or coffee, you're out of luck. In my case, I ended up opting for their Espressini cocktail with Fair Trade Coffee Liqueur instead. I know. What a sacrifice.

Our favorite dessert was the pumpkin flan. We may pass on the califlower and the churros next time. My drink was fabulous. Overall, had a great time, the staff were chatty and even kept the kitchen open for us to have dessert. The inside is modern, trendy, and clean. Highly, highly recommend if you're in town or live in London.

Amazing!!! I am…read morePeruvian, and this place reminds me of the restaurants I used to go to with my family when I was young! I've been a few times so far, including once with a large group of people, and we've always been easily accommodated and treated with smiles. Here are my reviews of some of the dishes: Lomo Saltado (beef stir-fry with chips): This is probably my favorite Peruvian dish ever; it's my go-to comfort food. The flavors are excellent. The dish is very generous, and I was able to happily enjoy my leftovers the next day! Anticuchos (beef heart): My boyfriend tried this dish for the first time ever, and he really enjoyed it! It might make some people a bit squeamish, but it's honestly a delicious dish that goes excellently with some boiled potatoes. Ají de gallina (spiced/creamy chicken) Another one of my comfort foods, this was delicious and was a VERY generous portion. Excellent to have half in the restaurant and use the rest the next day for sandwich filling! Yuca a la huancaína (fried cassava): Delicious. Perfectly fried yuca with some dipping sauce. I only wish there had been more! Ají sauce (green, spicy sauce): I didn't have any of this, as I am horrid with spicy sauces, BUT my Indian and Persian friends who came fell in love with this sauce so much that they requested to take some back with them after our meal! My one critique thus far is with the drinks: I haven't been able to try their chicha morada yet, so I'm not sure if it's homemade or from a mix or from a bottle, and when we ordered Inka Cola, we were given Andina Cola (really similar, but technically not the same). Small points to mention, but important to know regardless! I will say that our fruit drinks were freshly made and very good! Everyone who works here has been really lovely and friendly, and every time I've been there, Peruvians have been eating there. If that's not a glowing review to try it for authentic Peruvian food, I don't know what is! I honestly can't wait to go again and have other dishes on the menu!

As a Peruvian man, I saw this place as the traditional Peruvian restaurant however there were some small problems with the place, here's a couple: 1) Chicha morada: for those who don't know, chicha morada is a Peruvian sweet drink however this one tasted artificial, in my opinion, add something sour so that the drinks blends and makes the authentic taste. 2) Fried Jalea fish dish: I've been to Peru before and before trying it, I witnessed that there was more than one type of fish on the plate. The lettuce wasn't up to par and the cancha needed salt. 3) Ceviche traditional: This meal tasted excellent, the fish was right, leche de Tigre, even the sweet potato was on point. 4) Ice cream of Lùcuma: The ice cream really let it down because they told me it was homemade but honestly, this tasted more like ice than ice cream because the texture was too hard and it was not creamy enough. Hospitality was excellent, really comforting environment and a traditional Peruvian restaurant overall.
