The staff does not speak much English, but I was able to converse with them in Spanish, which I know much better than German. The menu contains descriptions in Spanish and German. I hope to eat here again during my stay in Darmstadt.

The owner and bartender both spoke a little English and went above and beyond to help us with understanding their menu. We ordered Tapas to share and each order with outstanding. Not only was the food hot, fresh, and tasty, the service was exceptional. Both the owner and bartender were very attentive and made our experience memorable. When we ordered warm Tapas, he asked us to trust him. We chose a shrimp, pork, and fish and the food was so delicious. We also had cocktails that were well priced and fabulous. After 5 drinks and 6 Tapas, our bill was 68 euros. I highly recommend this restaurant. It was very busy with locals. I know because of the way they were greeted when they arrived.
