After we sat service was very slow, and it seemed like they didn't care about us because we were tourists and they knew we wouldn't be back. It took a while for our drinks to come out, our appetizers came within a reasonable time. From when we sat down and ordered our food (which was as soon as we were asked), our actual entrees to came out an hour later. It may have been busy when we came, but we did notice that people who have sat and ordered after us receive their entrees and dishes and before we did (they even ordered some of the same dishes as us). We didn't order anything that would've taken a long time, just the "my frankfurt" schnitzel and hausgemachte bratwurst.
It's conveniently located in a city center. They offer indoor and outdoor dining.
However, The grilled octopus was delicious!!! Tasted very fresh and the flavor of the oil, scallions, gArlic paired very well with the natural flavor of octopus. Would recommend!
The schnitzel was cooked well and tasted okay. It was crispy and seasoned well. The green sauce paired perfectly with it. However, the seasoned potatoes that came on the side were too oily for my liking.
The bratwurst was decent, but nothing special.
We left feeling very dissatisfied with how we were treated, and felt a little shocked when the waiter asked how much we wanted to tip. I would have given four stars if the service was as good as any other place we had eaten in Frankfurt.
