So, I've stayed in rooms 6, 12, and 14. Of those rooms, 6 is by far the most impressive. It is one of the most expensive rooms, but well worth every penny. Room 14 is on the cheap side, and also worth the money. I honestly can't say the same for 12... while the bathroom is incredibly beautiful and includes a huge garden tub, the room itself is pretty dark and only has two very small windows. However, that beautiful bathroom is actually inside one of the turrets, so that's pretty cool, too. To get a five star review, the staff really needs to step up their game. We stayed for three nights, and towels / soap / shampoo / conditioner were never replaced. Trash was not taken out. Beds were not made. If I'm paying $200 a night, I do expect those things to be flawlessly taken care of. If it weren't for the building itself, this really would be more of a 3 star review. That being said, the innkeeper was very nice - and we did track anyone down to ask for new towels, etc. So, I certainly can't say we were refused. My tip to you would be that when you check in, ensure that those things will be taken care of if you require them for your stay.

We had a meeting to attend just a half mile down the road from the motel. The meeting started at about noon, so we called the motel while enroute to inquire as to getting into our room early. NO PROBLEM said the desk clerk and SAID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about an additional $25 fee for early arrival. We never had to pay that before. When we objected to the fee, the different desk person sat there and did nothing but mumble. We ended up having to pay the fee with the promise to NEVER TO STAY AT YHIS PROPERTY EVER AGAIN. And, we will advise others of their policies in all of our social media accounts. We will give them far more NEGATIVE PRESS than $25 worth. Be Aware People. Ask and question everything. I started to check for bed bugs (I DID NOT FIND ANY.) Smell seemed to dissipate by morning, however, came back by afternoon. Had staff check and the both agreed. 3. Pool Area: Sauna was off and took a long time to begin to warm up. However, door would not close. Additionally the hot tub could only be categorized as a "Luke Warm Tub," only slightly warmer than the pool. 3. Breakfast. Consisted of some fruit and granola bars. Not what I was told during reservations. All in all not a terrible stay. Just disappointed. Like I said the staff were the best part of the stay. Good luck regardless of where you decide to stay. When I Checked in, the lady at the front was very helpful and friendly. The elevators seems to move fast so we never had to wait long for them We got a 1 bedroom suite. The rooms are spacious but I don't think it's utilized well. The couch is not comfy and hard. There is place to sit and lounge. Bathroom was also spacious but the shower door only closed like 95% closed. It also had slow pressure and, oddly, at 4am... it took a long time for hot water to come The bedroom was nice. Very small bed... I'm surprised there was no king bed here. Two nightstands which had decent amount of outlets here and the entire suite Breakfast was okay. There was plenty breakfast items like juice and fruit and cereal. They do have a waffle station with a lot of add-ons/toppings. For hot food, however, they had premade mini omelette which had a powdery cheese sauce and sausage links. Both were actually pretty good. Plus they had your toaster station with breads and bagels. The pool was decent but the water was ice cold. And so was the pool room itself Overall, the hotel has its pros and cons. I did enjoy my stay and the staff was nice to me.

But I did get to make chocolate chip cookies. I stayed in an ADA room which was great for me. I'm just a little over 5 ft and u could actually reach the plates and cups. Usually I have to ask the hotel to lower those things so I can reach them.
