I give it one star because zero is not an option. I first went there about a year ago. When I arrived thirty minutes early for my appointment, I was asked, "What are you doing here?". I told the young lady I was not sure if my appointment was on the hour or half hour and I came when I did so as not to be late. She told me I could wait and pointed to a chair. The woman who actually cut my hair was nice but the cut was not very good. Two months ago, I decided to try them again. Their location had changed and I hoped things had gotten better. When I arrived, the young lady (different than previous) greeted me and was very friendly. She listened to what I wanted but again the cut was average at best. Since there are only two salons in town, I decided to give La Bella one last chance. I made an appointment for 11:00 am. I had my phone on speaker and my husband also heard them tell me 11:00 am. I also made a notation in my phone immediately after hanging up. When the day of my appointment arrived, I got to the salon at 10:55 No one spoke to me and I sat in a chair. One of the women cutting hair finally asked me if I needed something. I told her my name and that I had an 11:00 am appointment. She looked around the salon at the other two women doing hair and the one standing there doing nothing. She checked the appointment book and told me my appointment was at 10:00 am. When I let her know I had been told 11:00 she told me no it was 10:00. I asked if it was possible to still get my hair cut that day. All she said was, "No.". I walked out. After giving this place three chances, I will not go back.. The staff is rude, the haircuts mediocre at best, and I will not be lied to. read more
