I can't recommend La Beaut'e enough -- the owner has genuinely saved my hair and earned my trust. The first time I went to her was after a disappointing experience at another salon a few miles down the road. I was overcharged, and even after they put toner on my hair, it still came out very yellow. I honestly felt like I was charged extra just because of the name/location. I was so unhappy with the yellow/gold tones that I went straight to La Beaut'e that same afternoon. She was able to take me in and she charged me $80 for a toner -- and it ended up giving me the exact ashy, gray-blonde tone I originally wanted (instead of the yellow/gold the previous stylist left me with). I was relieved and so impressed. This is now my third visit, and this time was the first time she did highlights/balayage on my hair. She was incredibly careful and intentional -- she only bleached what truly needed it and made sure not to overprocess my hair. You can tell she prioritizes hair health and doesn't push unnecessary bleaching just to get through the appointment. On top of that, her pricing is very fair, she listens closely to what you want and delivers results that match what you show her, and she even gifted me a hair cream to help keep my hair healthy. And I have to mention it: she gave me the best head massage I've ever had -- truly the best in Buena Park. Instead of putting tons of chemicals she gives you alternatives to still get results. I love her digital/ root perm, the keratin treatment, regular hair treatment, cuts, coloring, and creativity! She can be educational and helpful on hair styling and maintenance. During my first visit, she actually offered me down perm for free to help me visualize what I can do for my hair and to soothe my frustration with my hair.
