I've always wanted to check out this hair salon because every time I eat at Arisu Korean BBQ, I notice it nearby! I happened to need my hair done for an event, so I decided to walk in and see if they could take me. Luckily, they were able to accommodate me right away. I showed the hairstylist an inspiration photo of the updo I wanted, and she was able to recreate it beautifully while adding her own touches to make the style work for me. The hairstyle was actually pretty intricate, with lots of curls, rolls, and bobby pinning needed to create the updo, but she managed to knock it out in less than an hour! She started by curling all of my hair and then, with so much attention to detail, carefully pinned and shaped each curl into a beautiful high updo bun. I was impressed watching everything come together because there was so much detail involved in getting all of the curls perfectly placed and pinned. To finish the look, she even added a pretty flower hairpiece on the side, complimentary, which was such a sweet touch and really completed the entire look. I was so happy with how my hair turned out, especially considering that I brought in such a complicated inspiration photo. I'll definitely be coming back for future hair styling, and I'd love to give them a try for my haircuts as well! read more

I can't recommend La Beaut'e enough -- the owner has genuinely saved my hair and earned my trust. The first time I went to her was after a disappointing experience at another salon a few miles down the road. I was overcharged, and even after they put toner on my hair, it still came out very yellow. I honestly felt like I was charged extra just because of the name/location. I was so unhappy with the yellow/gold tones that I went straight to La Beaut'e that same afternoon. She was able to take me in and she charged me $80 for a toner -- and it ended up giving me the exact ashy, gray-blonde tone I originally wanted (instead of the yellow/gold the previous stylist left me with). I was relieved and so impressed. This is now my third visit, and this time was the first time she did highlights/balayage on my hair. She was incredibly careful and intentional -- she only bleached what truly needed it and made sure not to overprocess my hair. You can tell she prioritizes hair health and doesn't push unnecessary bleaching just to get through the appointment. On top of that, her pricing is very fair, she listens closely to what you want and delivers results that match what you show her, and she even gifted me a hair cream to help keep my hair healthy. And I have to mention it: she gave me the best head massage I've ever had -- truly the best in Buena Park. Amazing experience here! I wanted to color my hair pink without too much damage and she worked with me to lift without excessive bleach exposure and used products to minimize damage. The owner Jenny was very nice and professional and was always checking in to see if I was comfortable or if I needed anything. The price she quoted me was also reasonable compared to other places I looked into. The salon itself is aesthetic, very clean. Had my second visit today. Honestly, the owner is the best and I'll be a customer for life. The owner knows exactly what to do with my hair type and style. She can be educational and helpful on hair styling and maintenance. During my first visit, she actually offered me down perm for free to help me visualize what I can do for my hair and to soothe my frustration with my hair.
