Went here with friends. The atmosphere is lively and engaging. The staff are so friendly! I just came in from New York, and everyone welcomed me so warmly. There is an open and energetic kitchen, high-top tables, long community tables/bars, and more intimate tables in the back.
The food is small plates though they offer s few larger plates too. It's a perfect spot to sit and catch up with friends while sharing Italian dishes. It seemed like 2 plates per person worked well. The friend calamari was lightly battered and the squid was cut thick so you could really taste it. The vegetables from the oven are s good mix of roasted veggies in olive oil- I loved the onions and fennel. The lamb kebabs were cooked well by a little heavily herbed for me (I think sage?). Tried the chicken with vegetable- the chicken (both dark and white meat) was grilled crisp and served with small, diced veggies. For dessert we shared the lemon and meringue pot- a tart and tangy lemon curd (a little grainy) topped with brûlée meringue. The dessert was a little too sweet for me. The espresso is very good quality.
Many options for all eaters- veggies, meat, and gluten-free. A great place to come with a group of for a romantic dinner. read more
