Inna was so so friendly, but most importantly she was malleable with her approach, she really took input to my particular hair and my desired design and I appreciated that. I've been in desperate need of a haircut and have been neglecting to make an appointment at David Arnold where I usually go. My kid does jiu jitsu right across the street on Saturdays, so I thought it was worth checking to see if they had an opening. I walk in. There's one person in the chair and one waiting. Here's how the interaction could have gone: Me: Do you take walk ins? Paul: I do, but there are nine people already scheduled. Me: Oh, ok. Thanks. Have a nice day. Here's how it went Me: Do you take walk ins? Paul: Walk ins? Do I take walk ins? Of course I take walk ins. Me: Great. Is it cash only? Him: Wow. You got a lot of questions. Me: I only have two... Him: Cash is king! Me: Ok, I'll go to an ATM. Him: Hold your horses. There are nine people in front of you. You think you're just gonna sit down? Me: Oh, well never mind. Have a nice day. It was a slightly (and unnecessarily) abrasive interaction but whatever. Fast forward one hour and I'm walking across the street. Paul is standing in the window of an empty shop with a big grin on his face giving me a huge wave. Oh, great. He has a slot. We cross the street. Me: Can you take me? Paul: You? No, I can't take you. I have ten o'clock. Me: Then why did you wave me in? Paul: I was just waving. You ASSUMED I was waving you in just like you ASSUMED you could just walk in here! What a stupid bizarre interaction. As luck would have it, David Arnold called me about a cancellation. I drove around the block, was greeted politely and offered a beverage, and got a far better haircut than the old men I saw walking out of Paul's.

Rodney is a very skilled barber who will make sure you will get the exact cut you want. Place is immaculate & bright. Located on the corner of Keswick & Glenside aves in the village of Glenside. Always a good conversation & cool music. The only drawback is that you need to book about 6 weeks in advance, as he is the only full time barber. This should attest to how in demand he is. After your first visit you can book as many future visits as you like. If you're a senior, you can get a discount which is very much appreciated. I urge you to watch the video on their website.
