I love the place! Everyone is always SO nice and they give great haircuts. The shop is clean, always bustling with energy, the music and atmosphere are great, and my kids love to talk baseball with Ralph. read more

Rushed cut. My final cut looked like a bowl cut. Worst cut I've had since Supercuts. Gonna need to find a new barber to get this fixed ASAP

Been going here for years crystal takes care of me and is the best barber in there in my opinion. But Ralph's is a very nice put together buiness overall. read more

Awesome. Plain and simple. Ralph's a piece of work(in only good ways) and the rest of the cutters are talented and excellent. There's no better place to get your hairs cut! read more

good luck ever getting into the place, owners wont tell you how many are ahead of you on there first come first serve list which has always been over an hour every time i drive there so ill look elsewhere. Reservations or bust read more

This is the epitome of Glenside/Abington local business. I have started attending this little treasure over the last year with my son. Whoever you get does an excellent job cutting hair. I've had many, but prefer Chuck or Ralph jr. All the staff take their time cutting your hair, they are not in a rush to get you out the door no matter how crowded it is. If you walk in on a Saturday, be prepared for a wait. You are much better off stopping in some evening after work. But, if you go to Ralph's for just the hair, you are missing out on so much more this place has to offer. From all the sports memorabilia that hangs all over the place to all the local men who get their hair cut there. I always see people I know there from the community. It is cash only, but their is an ATM across the street. read more

This morning I tried Ralph's for the first time. Great barber shop atmosphere. Great beard trim and hair cut. I like that there are guys sitting around talking, the way it used to be. This isn't sport clips or the other chains. This is a barbershop. With style. Great job guys. My new place! read more

Hit or big miss. Don't walk in and expect to get a good haircut if you don't have an appointment with one of the ladies. Worst haircut I've gotten in 60+ years of getting haircuts. I gave the guy a tip out of respect for the profession...but shouldn't have been charged for the haircut. read more

My brother got COVID from here after three barbers tested positive. The only reason I know is because I went for a haircut a week after my brother and multiple barbers were out sick, but I was assured they didn't have COVID. A few days later, my brother got COVID symptoms and I later contacted Ralph's to find out the same barbers out sick had tested positive. While spreading COVID while asymptomatic is out of their control, they did absolutely nothing in term of contacting exposed patients despite claiming they collect client information for contact tracing. Likewise, they were allowing walk-ins despite that being prohibited due to COVID. The barbers and cuts here are phenomenal, but the fact that they didn't make any effort to contact exposed individuals is unacceptable. It's even worse that they weren't following all the guidelines about no walk-ins either. read more

An incredible local family establishment. I've been getting my haircut here since I was a kid and even when I moved away to another city I would plan my visits home around getting my haircut here. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. If long lines are not your thing, plan ahead and call ahead. They honor your spot in line just like the "No Wait" app but more old school. Named one of the Manliest barber shops in the country by Men's Health Magazine, this place lives up to the hype. The decor is all sports memorabilia and sports games are always on the TVs. Ralph even outfits his waiting room with authentic Vet stadium seats! Come enjoy a great haircut and talk to the great staff, I guarantee you will be pleased! read more

GREAT local barbershop! The type of home grown business you can get behind. I have been going here religiously since I moved into this part of town. They get to know you by name, and the place is gorgeously decorated with sports memorabilia at EVERY turn. They even have a SECOND FLOOR for when things get busy or just for a change of pace. TONS of magazines to read, VERY clean and the prices are on par with everyplace else. Got a nice shave and a haircut the last time I went, left feeling like a million bucks! Seems geared mostly towards guys, as it's a barbershop. Although they seem to be making a play recently for the female audience as well. Chicks have hair too, might as well cash in on it! read more

I moved to the area about 16 months ago and was recommended to Ralph's by a co-worker. Have had at least 4 different barbers cut my hair and they are all good. Price is right and there is no doubt it is a neighborhood gem! As a woman I realized my short cut was better served by barbers than salon stylists and more economical too. Highly recommend. read more

HORRIBLE! Absolutely avoid. Most definitely one of the worst haircuts in my 37 years. The owner is more concerned with answering his texts than he was of giving me a proper haircut. He seriously answered 4 text messages while cutting my hair, not including answering the shop phone 2 or 3 times. Just about every shop I've been in, they rotate answering the phones... Not this guy. I seriously look like I have a toopée on. The top looks like someone took a crap on my head. Top three worst haircuts of all time for me, maybe the worst. Decor is real cool and it felt like an old barber shop..... but that's it. Just a feeling. Not at all like an old school barber shop besides the artifacts in the wall. I noticed the lady in the stall next to me shave the guys neck, but not the owner:(. Maybe he was thinking about his text messages or something? Oh yeah, and the kicker: The haircut prices are $15 and $17 when you make an appointment (which is ludicrous). Not the owner, his horrible haircut is $17. Why is this guy's bad haircut cost more money than the people giving a better haircut right next to him. Edit to add this: I've been using Yelp consistently for about 5 years now. I've been to a LOT of good places and some not so nice. This horrible haircut was the reason that I created my account. read more

One of the best, most personalized barber shops in the area! Never a long wait for walk-ins and a full assortment of products to choose from. read more

If you're looking for an old-school barbering experience, keep looking. This place is supercuts with some Phillies junk on the walls. The tools of the trade (hot lather machines, straight razors, shave brushes) are on display, however they are for display only. There are in fact no barbers at this barber shop, it is a bunch is hairdressers or stylists that are far more interested in gabbing with each other than giving a decent haircut. They don't even shave your neck, what kind of barber doesn't shave your neck? read more

Decided I'd try this place out but damn did I regret it. Got a haircut that took 40 minutes. Didn't even get any sort of shape up, just a messy haircut. On top of that, it was $18! Absurd prices, I wasn't even satisfied with my cut it was so terrible! Never going here again, if you're a guy who wants to get a haircut for a reasonable price. Got to John who's just down the street (Glenside Cuts) and you'll thank me later. read more

Nice manly decor, great magazine collection. They are a victim of their our success. Went in there Sat. AM for a quick crewcut waited 40 min while customers with reservations got in before me. Left with no haircut. read more

Literally the worst haircut I've ever received. Uneven through out. I asked for a fade and it's not even close. Never getting my business again. read more

Just moved to Glenside and loved my first experience at Ralph's. There were customers of all ages and I loved my haircut and beard trim by Maria. read more

I've been going to Ralph's for 2 years now and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming and the staff is friendly and professional. I go to see Tony, who does a great job. I've never had any complaint about a cut. The price is more than reasonable for a quality haircut. Before I found Ralph's I tried a few other local barber shops and was very unimpressed. It is easily the best place in the area. read more

This was the worse service ever received. Felt as if I was unwelcome and and a burden of his time. If this is how everyone is treated when they come in it blows my mind they are still open. I have seen better service at Great Clips. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

Been going to Ralph's for a long time. Never got the owner before. This guy is the real deal. Great place to get your hair cut by a local business who cares instead of some random chain. read more

I have been going to Ralph's for a year now. I have been extremely happy with the haircut that I receive from Evelyn. I will always wait for her to be available. I get a great, consistent and precise cut from her every time. She cut my son's hair (3 years old) and was very patient and friendly with him. We've had cuts from the other women who work there and the cuts were always good. It's the only place I take my family and they're very reasonable too. read more

I usually get my haircut by Pattie. She is great and does a great job; however, yesterday I went and got my haircut by George because Pattie is on vacation. What a disaster. Do not use this barber. I am getting married tomorrow and he butchered my hair. I asked for a medium fade and he gave me an uneven high and tight. He basically took a one clip all the way up to the top of my head then cut way too much hair off the top. I look like I just enlisted in the military. I could have done better myself. I can't believe I paid $17 for this disgrace. The state should revoke his barber license. read more

Took me forever to find a new barber but then I found Dave at Ralphs. Perfect every time and always available I won't go anywhere else.

Been coming to this place for a long time. Yes they are busy but busy for a reason. If you want to save some time call ahead and tell them what time you want. If you want a particular stylist you can do that also but it will cost a few bucks more. I just call ahead and the next one that opens while I am there is usually just fine. If they are really busy sign in go next door for a cup of coffee and some great pastry's at Daryl's read more
