Also, the restaurant has easy access from the pool, so you can grab lunch in your bathing suit while taking a break from the pool. The food was solid, but didn't compare to the best restaurants in Sestri Levante. We ordered three dishes, all pastas, and split them. We ordered: - Penne with tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, and basil: very basic and kind of bland dish. The tomatoes seemed fresh, but the cheese was scarce and the sauce wasn't anything special. It just tasted like basic tomato sauce. No deep flavors and just boring. This dish was also super small, which was frustrating for 15 euros. - Spaghetti with pesto: very tasty dish but not as complex and interesting as the same dish we have had in other restaurants close by. - Spaghetti with clam sauce: this was the highlight of the meal. The clams were already taken out of the shells, which was odd since this dish is usually served with full clams, but they tasted fresh. The sauce was full of flavor, even if not the best we have had in the area. The dishes ranged from 15 to 18 euros and were relatively small (especially the penne), but overall a decent meal. The town is just a few minutes walk, and you're better off going to the best restaurants there for a great meal.
